“The food is amazing!!!! This is the best ever Indian food that we have had from a long time. The lady (owner) is super nice too! They close at 9, but she waited for us until way beyond that to make sure we had everything we needed. Took out 1 star for Atmosphere because we expected it to be a restaurant when it really was a food truck. However, it didn't matter at the end because we still loved the awesome food and their outdoor seating and ended up having more fun!”

The only downfall I saw was the price of shirts, I really wanted one as a souvenir, but at $35 each each I couldn't bring myself to buy one. “We had great fun sharing an seven top with two other couples for dinner. This is a great way to meet folks! Had the Mexican Burger with waffle fries and onion rings. My lovely side kick enjoyed the Bacon Blue burger. These were so filling and full of flavor. Afterwards we ventured upstairs for a great band, Chapel Hart! This was awesome, we had a super fun night. This place was packed! The bar both up and down stairs did the best job keeping everyone supplied with spirits of enjoyment! We were here on the opening night! The staff had some challenges. It was cool to see them work through this with no impact on the enjoyment of the clientele. We will be back! I understand that there will be a coffee shop with a bakery for the AM locals and traveling folks to enjoy. Hope to see this happen.”

“LOVE the Instagram-worthy daiquiris and mimosas here! The colorful cocktails are almost too pretty to drink - almost. The new location in Orange Beach is the perfect spot for a girls day out, bridal shower, or other gathering. With lots of pink and glam furnishings it puts you in a happy mood, even before you have your mimosa. Our favs include the Key Lime Daiquiri and the Cotton Candy Mimosa. Also, be sure to order appetizers with your drinks. The creamy spinach dip with crackers is excellent and the strawberry, goat cheese bruschetta was delicious, as well. Service here is outstanding! This family-owned and operated business staff will make you feel welcome and right at home. Can't recommend this place enough.”

“Mini golf was not all that involved, but a fun way to spend half an hour. It was $10 per adult for mini gulf. The food was decently priced, great portion sizes, but minimal flavor. I ordered the chicken bacon ranch fries and they tasted like nothing other than ranch, even with fried chicken on it, there was no flavor. My husband ordered the fried shrimp platter, and there was very little flavor.”

“I was here for lunch today. We sat outside, taking in the fresh air and clean environment. I had the Burro bowl, and my friend had the fish tacos. After my first bite, I couldn't stop saying how nice it was. My friend said he could eat three more tacos because they were so good. We also tried their mocktails and the margarita bowl. The mocktails were refreshing, and the margarita was superb. The best part was our warm and sweet service we received from our server. She was so nice and made sure we enjoyed every moment there. “As good as I remembered! Everything I've tried has been fresh and hot. I like that they offer sides like green beans, okra and mac and cheese instead of just fries, too. Fish plates are served with a big helping of cracklings which is nice. I don't remember Captain D's doing that before. Sweet tea is good, everything else is Pepsi, yuck. Also, it's nice to have somewhere other than Fish River that does real hush puppies and not frozen little balls of sadness from Sysco.”

“Quick dinner at Jim N Nick’s. It is always clean when we come here. The atmosphere is really calm and the outdoor seating is very nice. We often sit at the bar, as we did this time. We ordered Brisket Mac N Cheese and a Pulled Chicken Sandwich. The food was good as always. The bartender accidentally gave us the Habanero BBQ sauce. Which, thank heavens my husband could handle it- however- the meal was just not the same as he tried to drown it in regular sauce. We totally understand accidents happen, yet for someone extremely sensitive to heat, that could have been really bad. Just make sure you know what you are getting!”

“Great courses and even better customer service! I am in town visiting my brother and we tried to play here on Friday and got rained out, came back out today and got a fast 9 holes in on the Lakes Course. The course is in great shape and the greens are just about perfect - rolling fast and true. What impressed me most was how nice EVERYONE at the course was. From the time we checked in to the time we were on our way out after the round the staff was friendly and personable. This is definitely my new favorite course in Gulf Shores!!”

“My husband and I went to Baumhower’s Victory Grille for date night, and were promptly greeted upon our arrival. We were seated at table 81 and our server was Lisa. She was very knowledgeable and friendly. We will be requesting her as our waitress for future visits. When Lisa brought my sweet tea, we realized there was a crack in the bottom of the glass causing it to leak. She very promptly replaced my drink and cleaned up what had leaked out. My husband had the Victory burger, and I had the Triple Play Cheeseburger. Both came with curly fries. The food was great and not over priced for what you get. These burgers were big and juicy! We also ordered fried pickles as an appetizer…they were so good. Overall, we had a fabulous experience and we will be back for more great food with great people in the future!
