“It's real funny to me how gas station pizza is my #1 choice out of the few options in this area. The pizza has been good.”

“The atmosphere was great. We sat at the bar that is fully covered outdoors while listening to some great music on their really nice outdoor stage. The service was great. They helped us with drink choices based on what we told them we liked and they were spot on. I highly recommend checking this place out. It would be a great place to host an event too.”

“Delicious home made authentic Mexican food. Fast.Friendly. Nice outside seating. If you are looking for ambiance it’s close to a big road but they have made it nice.”

“Typically good food, wait times are sometimes long however. Meal swipes can be used here. My only real complaint is that the food is not consistent. Usually I get chicken fingers and they were a completely different product than what I got earlier in the week when I ordered the same thing.”

“Go! Definitely didn’t disappoint one bit! They are extremely flavorful and give good portions for the price! I’ve tried a handful of Mexican spots and this is by far the best I’ve had!”

“Let me begin by stating that I am not a vegetarian, far from, and I have never considered a vegetarian restaurant. This is not a place I would have visited if not for the suggestions of some friends of mine. Stopped by today for lunch as I was in the area. Not busy at all at 12:30. In fact, I was the first person in the door, although five or six people walked in shortly after me. Based on their suggestion, I decided on the Jackfruit taco plate. The food, I must say, was delicious! No unusual flavors or consistencies. Everything was hot and fresh and seemed very high quality. I can't really say I was surprised as I didn't have any expectations going in, but I was very happy! That having been said, I believe there was an unusual circumstance going on today as it took some 45 minutes for me to receive my food. Considering I was the first person in the door and the first to order, I don't understand that at all. In addition, in my opinion, the price was about 1/3 more expensive than it should have been. Had it not been for the high cost and the hard to excuse wait, I would have given them a higher rating. As it stands, I am not in a hurry to return.”

“This was my first visit to Rolo's in several years. I went after seeing that they were open for breakfast. Rolo's is a traditional diner. The food is inexpensive, the service is good, and the meals were served as ordered and generally very good. I ordered fried eggs with toast and potatoes. The toast and eggs were cooked perfectly. The potatoes were also very good. They appear to be potatoes that were frozen after being cut into small cubes. The sausage was also very good. There were two pieces of sausage which I had not expected. My dining companion ordered a biscuit and a scrambled egg. The biscuit was good but tasted as of it had been frozen and warmed up rather than made from scratch as is the case at some breakfast locations. The top was black as it had been burned rather than cooked to a light brown. On a subsequent visit at lunch, we ordered the whole catfish (bone-in). Servings are available with one or two fish. One was plenty. It was cooked to a golden brown and had a good taste. The mashed potatoes and green beans were also very good. The hushpuppies were a little dry for my taste but not inedible by any means. I suggest trying the peach cobbler for dessert for those who still have an appetite for dessert after a good-sized meal. It was sweet and had good texture and flavor. Our server was very efficient, friendly, and everything was served quickly. Overall, this was a good experience.”

“Absolutely fantastic! Walking in, the atmosphere is so nice and cute! The host was so polite and nice and sat us at a table in the bar. Our server was honestly one of the best servers we've ever had. She was so nice and polite and personable. She interacted with my son so well, too! Then the food - AMAZING! We had chicken katsu and the Alabama roll. Both were served beautifully and tasted delicious. Then we had the fried cheesecake and it was great! The tempura breading on it was so light and perfect. My almost 9 year old son says "The food was incredible and amazing. The best restaurant I have ever been to!"”

“The food was outstanding! It was my first time here. I got what the lady at the window recommended. 3 tacos, 3 limes, and soup. I asked for green sauce, and although they were busy, they didn't forget it. The soup was so delicious. I waited for a good bit, but she gave me a beeper so I could wait in my car. If a lot of car is there it's hard to get outta there.”

“Really nice spot! A reservation is recommended on the weekends Sunday was a tad busy. There was DJ and he was good, it was definitely a vibe. The hostess was polite and the server was nice. She was attentive and helpful. I had the chicken hash brown bowl and added a side of catfish. The catfish was amazing and the bowl was really good, maybe slightly dry. My sister had the catfish and grits and it was phenomenal. We both ordered a mimosa because we didn’t have time for bottomless. I hated they were served in a short plastic cup with straws, the presentation is so much better in a champagne flute… even a plastic one. A single glass is 8 dollars and with flavor it’s 10. We wish we had known they had flights because that was a better deal and a chance to try other flavors. I also didn’t love how low the tables were at the booths; it made eating very awkward. These was an issue with the bill but the sever and manager were very helpful and fixed it promptly. I would definitely be back to support!”

“Food is excellent. Consistent quality and delicious. After several menu selections, I have always been pleased. Just great food all around. The cook (I belive he works solo?) does phenomenal work. That said, service was lacking. Bar service was vapid. Wait staff parked up on the end if the bar.”

“Shrimp Poor Boy was tasty, but I am not used to tails with my fried shrimp - yields a totally different texture. Other than that, our experience was wonderful during Sunday brunch and so the 5-star rating holds. The tails is a personal preference and DOES NOT impact my rating. Shout out to Wesley G. = terrific and attentive server and excellent during composer! The Jalapeño Margarita was spice and had a great “KICK” and the Blackberry Whiskey Sour was so delicious that I had to drink two!”

“First time visiting and we will be back! We had the floret tacos which were surprisingly good and very flavorful (I am not a vegetarian but would order them again). We tried the drink special (strawberry hibiscus latte) and it was delicious! Lots of gluten free and vegetarian options. The only negative is the parking, but at least there is an easier way to get out around the back.”

“Everyone is so friendly and welcoming. I will definitely be back again. I have tried açai from other places around Huntsville and hands down City Bowls has them beat by miles. And they weren’t greedy with the toppings, Amen!”

“Love the place, great setup, not overly crowded. Good beer and drink selection and awesome food. 3 burgers all cooked perfectly at different temps, amazing fried pickles, super crispy and big chicken wings and loved the Parmesan fries. Bacon queso appetizer also fantastic.”
