“Excellent meal. Mama Ree's is like eating at your grandma's. We stopped on a Sunday will driving from Auburn to Memphis. It was a review from Raecheal that convinced us to try Mama Ree's. Turned out Raecheal was our server. There were a good number of customers there, but we were seated right when we arrived. The buffet was delicious. Everything was hot and ready to eat. I had a couple main lunch plates then some of the dessert options. We will definitely be back when we find ourselves traveling along 280 at the right time for a Mama Ree's fix. “My first time at August's after having it recommended by several people to me. I went with the ribs and they were very good. The sauce is on the side so you can decide how much you want. The service was friendly with everyone being helpful. It's a very laid back place to grab a meal and a few drinks while you watch the game.”

“Ate at Batter up 8/16/19 for dinner on our way home form Birmingham. The owner and staff made you feel if you had known them for years. Friendly and very accommodating. The owner actually came to our table twice to speak and the waitress was always checking on us. The food was equally wonderful, reasonably priced and large portions. this place is about an hour's drive from my home but I will definitely go back soon and take friends.”

“Had two excellent breakfasts while in Childersburg. The Friday chef was the best. He kept up with all the orders as they were called out to him and never missed a beat. The grits were very good. On Saturday the cooks were “ squabbling “ between each other and messed up orders. The wait staff was excellent.”

“There are few places to eat on Logan Martin lake. There are even fewer places where one can drive his boat to a dock and walk up to eat. The food is excellent and they have a great variety of choices. The staff is friendly and helpful. My ONLY reason for not giving 5 starts is the time it takes to get your food after it is ordered. Do yourself a favor and go when you are not in a hurry. The food and the atmosphere is worth the effort (and the time)!”

“Overall, this is a great place, lots of room, big enough that more than one band can play at a time and not intrude on the other areas music is being played. The upstairs room is nice, very big. Stage area is very small and ceiling is very low over it. In the show we went to see, performers kept having issues with wires hanging too low and having enough room to move well. The only thing I really disliked is smoking is allowed inside and myself and my friends all had a very allergy issues that night and the next couple of days from all the smoke. Waitresses were very friendly and did a great job keeping up with everyone.”
