“It just really is what it claims to be. Cook to order premium burgers, grilled chicken, and veggie burgers in a quick service setting. Fresh-cut fries and hand-breaded, thick-cut onion rings. I caught a clearance sale on hyphens. The kids have had the hot dogs and like them but typically get burgers. Deserts are custard based confections and generally pretty good. The Key Lime concrete is a universal family favorite...think parfait made with key lime pie and vanilla custard. There's a chocolate analog with brownie bits, but we all agree that, as at other places, the bits are sort of gummy. But don't take my word for it...”

“This is my daughter’s favorite pizza place. She loves the garlic knots. If your like garlic, you will love them too. Next she gets the snack pizza with pesto & garlic, roasted garlic and chopped garlic. I love my pizza with mozzarella cheese, pesto, chicken, sun-dried tomatoes, artichoke hearts, black olives and feta cheese. Then topped with spinach and more feta cheese. If you have not guessed, this is a build your own pizza place. They also have a build your own salad. You must go try!”

“Welcome Whataburger to Alabama from Texas! If you haven’t tried a made to order fresh, (not frozen meat) burger, you need to try one. My daughter is so happy that she can now eat one of her favorite burgers and chicken tenders from her home state. “Hidden gem. Small family run restaurant with friendly service. Small but varied menu, bottle beer and margaritas. This is tucked in attached to the Ingram Farms Ice Cream Shop. Went here with the family. Wife and son each had chicken fajitas, daughter had chicken tacos with rice and beans, I had beef and rice bowl. All came out quickly with obviously fresh cold components. Despite few other customers the rice was not dried out nor was it mushy. Salsa appeared to be made there with plenty of fresh cilantro. It was quite mild which was good for the kids. The single bathroom was tidy and smelled of cleaner, not perfumed in a cover up attempt. Great experience for a close to home quick dinner. We'll do it again.”

We also requested a more private table at the last minute and they seated us in a lovely corner away from everyone else. It was very romantic! “Southern Ale House has a wonderful casual atmosphere. Everything from the wait staff to the food was very good. They had seating for large parties like our 14 count group all the way to intimate tables for 2. Food...I had a southwest carrot soup that was slightly sweet, creamy with a hint of heat. We had 2 appetizers- loaded French fries & fried pork skins. Both were ????????! The entrees were all different since there were 14 of us but I can honestly say there were NO LEFTOVERS!”

“I hadn't come by because the restaurant that used to be wasn't so great. But La Bamba, wow, that was good. Prompt and attentive service, the server was really nice and helpful, and they didn't give me trouble for having my service dog with me. Best of all, the FOOD. So good! They had great quacamole, and the combo burrito (pic shown) was HEAVENLY. That sauce deserves an award. I'll be back!”
