“This is a nice place. Service is excellent. Portions are huge. Food comes out pretty quick as compared to other Mexican restaurant. Now as far as the food is concerned, i wasn’t impressed. I still give four stars because everything else was great. Here was way too much cheese and lettuce on tacos to eat. Kids chicken tenders were not that good. Their Salsa is definitely home made and cheese dip is good too. Ill come back and give it a try again.”

“WOW! WOW! WOW! I just ate the best pulled pork I’ve ever had! Hungry? Around in Tuscaloosa? Go to “Archibald & Woodrow’s” and you ain’t get disappointed! Delicious “southern cuisine” served by friendly people - reasonable priced - portions that big there is no way you get over them! Absolutely recommended location for outstanding food! Keep in mind credit cards are not accepted you have to pay “oldschool” in cash (there is an ATM in the restaurant)”

“Great for a quick bite. Service seemed a little short but they were nice. Lots of options, although a little pricey. I’m a big Waffle House fan but I will admit there are a lot more options here. Delicious pancakes and I love all the untraditional flavors. Lots of seating, stays open late and right near the movies for a convenient bite. I was disappointed though because they were out of strawberry syrup (throughout the whole restaurant) and the syrup is my favorite part.”

“Good food, always hot and fresh. I like how they bring it to your table after you order. The hush puppies are delicious! They tell a greeting to you when you come in the front door, they laugh if you tell back at them. The only negative is how you get the tarter sauce, etc. This little cups are to flimsy.”

“My all time favorite place to eat. I went through a phase where this was the only fast food place I would eat. The service is amazing even when I’m getting my food to go. The employees are the most polite staff I have ever met. The chicken sandwich is simple but so delicious. I love the nuggets (grilled and fried). Best waffle fries I have ever had. Food is always hot and fresh. I recommend getting the Chick-fil-A One app because it has amazing rewards and promos. If you are from the north this is the first place you need to go when you get here. Nobody can do it better. I love Chick-fil-A!”

“The Best Chinese I have ever had. The Owner Tommy is a good friend always polite and so are his workers!!! My favorites are the pepper steak on top of rice, sweet and sour chicken, and hunny chicken. Also dont forget a good Dr. Pepper to wash it down with a fortune cookie.”

“The thin crust pizza was awsome. Took a while to get it though. The 2 girls did a great job in keeping it moving even with very limited staff. What are the owners thinking? Pizza was great!”

“One of the best dinning experiences in town, with nice ambience and friendly staffs. The food is really good. The sushi is really tasty. The ingredients are fresh. Their ‘midnight sushi’ is really popular and you can see long queue awaiting outside. The place is most of the time pretty busy. Their dessert is also very tasty.”

“Upon arriving the restaurant outside front looked amazing! Fire pit outside with seating and the black warrior river! I mean come on you know?! Then upon entering the River, the decor was perfect and the atmosphere was as expected. We had reservations, and were seated relatively quick. When we sat down we found the table had a wobble to it! A wobble?, in a restaurant of this magnitude! Mules were good and the staff were perfect! Took some time for out food, but it was packed! I had the scallops and the were tasty with a so so side. The chef accommodated my girlfriend due to her not eating pork or red meats! The peanut butter dessert was very good! Wanted the cheesecake but they were out! I will be back to try the ribeye and hopefully the cheesecake!”

“Wonderful staff. Great atmosphere. It's nice to feel like you're in Thailand at someone's home having dinner. Your spice and heat level you can decide. Sushi is always fresh. Made to order. Not always available so call first. A must to visit. Parking in the back. Also some parking across the street.”

“Pros: Awesome waitress. Bacon and fried potatoes are the the best I've had. Top notch. Cons: The supreme omelet is big, meaty, but bland. Just that flat egg taste. Waffles soft, fluffy and not sweet. I've always had waffles crispy on the edges. Syrup is just a meh. Nothing special. Too much staff hanging out at the front desk. Its awkward to have so may eyes on you when you walk through the door. Prices about 20% higher than what it should be to move customers. Conclusion: Better than average breakfast though sides are better than the eggs. Great staff that have been trained well.”

“Was near Tuscaloosa and decided to go there. Found this place through google maps and decided to give it a try. I had the Carne Asada plate and it was excellent. Portion were generous (didn’t notice right away) and delicious; gentleman waiting on me was very polite. I’m a Texan, born and raised close to the Mexican border by Mexican parents, and the food here tasted like the real deal. Whenever I get back to Tuscaloosa, I’m definitely coming back to La Hacienda El Mexicano.”

“Best sushi in town! Atmosphere is nice, service is good, prices are cheap for the quality you get, and the sushi is amazing. For less than $9, you can customize a maki roll to your tastes and it’s made fresh right in front of you. The original tuna and salmon is really good, but I really like the spicy tuna and salmon that they have. Fresh, delicious, fast service, just amazing. Love this place!”

“Great food, you can tell a great place to eat when it is always crowded. This is just good southern cooking at it's best. Wait staff is not very good. Refills came slow and I have a big problem with dropping the check when delivery food. The check should come at end of the meal.”

“Normally excellent. This time however, I visited 2-14-20 at opening and was somewhat put off by the fact that the white rice (another costumer ordered it) wasn't ready nor was the sweet&sour sauce ready. To my surprise, the brown rice wasn't fully cooked either. I don't know about you but I'm not crazy about eating (expensive) rice and bite into the hard, not fully cooked grains. Also, I was charged for the $1.25 upcharge each for Honey walnut and Firecracker shrimp. No problem, I knew about the upcharge ( they remind you anyway). Problem is I expected more flavor, larger portion and a more unique flavors. Not so much of either. Overall, we spent almost $24 bucks. On a good note, even though we had to wait, the egg rolls were delicious and the orange chicken was on par. All is forgiven. I hope the Panda Express powers that be read this and make adjustments accordingly . I'll update after my next visit, good luck!”

“Wonderful staff. Bring a little cash to tip, because they earn it but you can't put it on a cc. Catfish is done well, loved the vinegar- based coleslaw! ???????????????? And how nice it was to see a memory of the late, great Kobe Bryant on the wall. As well as hear the stories of his warmth and kindness.”

“The plate may have had a small chip in it and the tables show some wear... BUT THE FOOD!!! OH THE FOOD was the perfect blend of traditional Chinese fare with a touch of familiar street cusine. The server was exceptionally helpful and the prices were a bargain. Did I say they have drive up window service? They are a 5 on the "yum scale!"”

“Rick's Chophouse is a gem in McKinney. This is our go to spot for Sunday brunch, or a fancy night out. First the Sunday Brunch: make a reservation! This is a popular brunch and it gets busy every Sunday. I'm not even sure they allow walk ins. The brunch is always great, with amazing fresh food. They have your typical eggs and bacon and such, along with seafood, prime rib, oysters, smoked salmon, soups, and southern comforts like Mac and cheese, mashed potatoes and hash brown casseroles”

“We're visiting from out of town and decided to give Nothing but Noodles a try since we don't have one where we're from. The food was good, but the service was impeccable!! I have both wheat and dairy allergies, so I asked what their options were and they were so helpful and accommodating!! The cook and manager came to assist, as well and they made certain that my food didn't come in contact with any potential allergens. The lady at the front taking our order was so pleasant and great with my talkative, inquisitive daughter. This was such a delightful experience, I'm very sad we don't live closer!”
