“I was looking for some good vegetables for lunch, and I found them. Miss J had turnip greens, collard greens, peas, macaroni & cheese, a few other vegetables and some meat. “If I see a Sonic I just have to stop, especially if it is Happy Hour (2-4pm daily). A Peach Cream Slush or a Lemonade Slush is awesome, but they have about a billion other drink combinations you can try. The service is fast, the food is great and the carhops are nice. This location is easy to get in to but hard to get out of if you want to go South on 82 towards Montgomery.”

“I sat at the bar. After sitting there for a few minutes they finally figured out who would come take my order. I could tell the waiters were a bit inexperienced. The beef tips rice and gravy was good, not overly salty and the meat was thoroughly cooked. The decor looked good, different from a lot of other similar spots in ttown. Although I wasn’t too satisfied with the service, i will eventually visit again just to give another item on the menu a try.”

Three stars because we ordered one roll of sushi as an appetizer and it took exactly 51 minutes to come out. It's a Thursday night, why should sushi take nearly an HOUR to come out? Especially when it's an app? Insane. If this is a normal time for them, I don't know how people come here when you can get sushi anywhere else in town in less than 10 minutes for a cheaper price. Management never came by to check on us. They obviously don't keep an eye on ticket times and if they do - then they don't care enough about their customers or the restaurant for it to matter. If you're on the fence about going to Chuck's, then I suggest trying Half Shell Oyster House down the street.”
