“What a great little place! The buffet is small, but unlike the places that have a million choices, EVERYTHING is excellent and cooked to perfection. They know that it's better to keep it simple and delicious than to have a bunch of mediocre food available. “Hands down . The best Mexican food !!! We had the honor of one of the owners take and serve our order and she was so polite and gave my wife and I the best customer service. We had told her that this was our first time here and she had explained to us that everything on the menu is hand made, even the salsa. My wife just had to have more of their salsa , so we had bought a jar of their best homemade salsa. I do recomend this place , that is if you want real Mexican food”

“Had a really nice time here, they accepted my entertainment app coupon off my phone. The food took a little while but it was worth the wait. The burger was decent, the fries were outstanding, the chicken wings were some of the best I've ever had (honey hot had some kick). The wings had a nice, light, crunch, meat tasted fresh, sauces, ranch, ice tea, even the ice water were all excellent. We got there just in time for the night trivia on Monday which was fun. I'd definitely recommend this place if you're looking for a fun atmosphere with good drinks and wings!”

“Their pizza is fine and dandy but their customer service leaves a sour taste. I ordered a Philly steak sandwich and wheb it arrived, one long side was so burnt, it had the consistency of plastic. The meat was jerky dry and the sandwich seemed like it had been made once, refrigerated, ran back through the oven, and it cooled off to a hardened state. I called the store to let them know and the woman on the phone not only defends the sandwich, but SHE was the one who made it! And she identified herself as the assistant manager! I would have been mortified if my employee sent that garbage out my doors with my brand name on it. I figured I'd let it go and just refrain from ordering sandwiches from there. Well, tonight I order an 8-piece boneless wings. What I received was 7 fatty, middle-of-my-palm sized boneless wings......and two burnt sad excuses for popcorn chicken that we're supposed to constitute wing 8. Not my chicken, guys. I'm not going to bother calling it in because I don't want to be belittled over chicken. I just felt management should know this quality of food is starting to become consistent...”

Because of the friendly and welcoming atmosphere / staff this has become one of my favorite restaurants. “A first-time experience! Servers definitely rate six stars! They were super friendly and helpful! Made this first experience one to remember. The only downside to the evening was I came in through the back parking lot and was a bit confused about the outside seating and ordered at the bar. Then I decided to look around and found the sit-down service area and decided to sit there instead. Server Jasmine was very kind and provided a table, but as I had ordered at the bar my food was to be delivered outside. Finally though, it was delivered to my table at about room temperature but my T-bone steak, onion rings, and twice baked potato were still very good! Overall experience, despite misdelivery of my meal, still rates 5 Stars Over All. I most definitely will be back and will order on the sit down side of the restaurant! Once again Desert Rose management kudos to Jasmine for going out of her way to make me feel comfortable and at home.”

“I liked this small restaurant. What it landed in size it made up for it charm. It was just around the corner from the Glendale convention center, so we walked here to have a meal. I started my meal with spring rolls. I have had spring rolls on many occasions, and the were delicious. Excellent job on the spring rolls. I ordered dry noodles with pork and vegetables. It was a first for me. It took a bit to get used to the dry noodles, but in the end I was content with my meal.”

“I want to know if it’s really the owner who responds to this reviews, first of if you are, I would like to thank this company for giving me the opportunity of being an employee at this store franchise, I enjoyed working for you guys while it lasted, so I don’t regret to have been a part of the team, I know I was fired by the company but they had their good reasons perhaps I didn’t quite learn the policy right as to what not to do when a suspect try stealing from store but I’m glad I’m alright, I would like to speak in behalf of all of those people I left behind Tina my manager, and my coworkers and all those Circle K employees that work for this company, yes is great, the job to me it’s a pancake really easy, but your employees need security, they lack that in all of the Circle K stores, the store is being robbed almost daily, beer runs, cigarette runs, I was even robbed at gunpoint the first 2 months of working for you guys, cameras where not even running that one time, this second time I was robbed by a 15-16 year old she wasn’t even armed for God’s sake but my mistake was reacting to try and grab the $20 tube that fell from machine while she was away from it and I heard it fall, so she reacted by shoving on me pushing me I never touched the girl she was the one who got close to me, yeah now I see it was dumb but it was just a reaction I didn’t think at the moment of the consequences and I never thought that it was confrontational either, to me the way I saw that policy to confront was to stop an individual physically to grab, hold, and subdue them. Everyone there was respectful starting from Joey the supervisor who interviewed me and hired me to my co-workers, Tina she’s a great manager also Robert, I got the chance to meet Olivia before getting fired and worked with her, she’s a great assistant manager, I miss the daily clients if they ever read this review I would love to say thank you for making my days at work so fun and full of smiles, hated whenever I was super busy and wasn’t able to cope with the demands but I’m sure all of you will be alright but I truly do miss all of you, sorry for not staying longer to at least say goodbye but I never expected to be leaving the store this way. Also please do something about the cameras so they can be running all the time there’s some electrical problem in the store that really needs to get fixed.
