“I haven't been to this location since before "Booties" took over. Yes, it has been awhile. Friday night was busy, but we found 2 seats at the bar. A guitar playing vocalist was entertaining and the service was fast and friendly. A couple next to us raved about the wings. Many "wings" trophies from a national competition decorated the bar. We had already eaten, so we'll go back soon to sample the wings. Great vibe, we'll be back.”

I like the extensive menu they have at Sonic, and that it is not expensive. Before long I was back on the interstate again heading west. This Sonic compares favorably to the other Sonics I have visited through the years.”

“So delicious. Loved the waitress. We had only eaten breakfast here in the past. My husband had chicken fried steak which he thoroughly enjoyed. I had Parmesan crusted chicken. It was so moist and tender. We wanted pie after but we were so stuffed. We both are every bit on our plate. The waitress acted truly happy we were there as did the manager. “The food here is SO good! We went on a Wednesday night and the place was packed so that tells you something right there. We sat on the patio and had beautiful views of the golf course and the fountains. Our waitress was so sweet. But more than anything else I'm going back for the food, so so so good, the frys are amazing, fish was perfectly battered, my boyfriends hamburger was cooked exactly how he likes it. “Really delicious family run Italian eatery. Casual ordering and relaxed environment with Chicago and Italian memorabilia, the entire dining experience was pretty fantastic. Tasty beef sandwich dipped with sweet peppers was very good, as well as the ravioli and the spaghetti with sausage. Their pizza is straight out of Chicago. Perfect thin crust with just the right amount of cheese. We got sausage and onion pizza and it was like I never left home! I love the feel of a family owned restaurant because all the members are present, either cooking or serving, and they love talking to the customers like it’s their family too! We’ve made this our go-to Italian spot!”

“I like State 48, don't get me wrong. Nice patio and a good selection of food. Haven't had anything to eat there that was very good. Unfortunately to me the beers are just average with little variety in taste characteristics overall. I think they try to do a more is better thing instead of quality of quantity. Also, it can be a bit disorderly and chaotic getting service, especially trying to order at the bar. It is loud with either crowds or the road next to the patio (obviously only so much they control on that, but worth noting) That said, we do go often as it's close, but try to avoid standard busy times. If you do go I can highly recommend the Fig and Prosciutto pizza, or any of the pizzas. For beers if I do one of theirs it is the Vortex or Freedom IPA. Both decent enough.”
