“First time here and I am not sure why there are so many negative reviews. I just had the aloo (potato) parantha with indian tea. Parantha was good size and the tea was good. It's a new upcoming place, so like with all new businesses let's give them a chance. They have a small amount of various indian snacks. Employees were respectful. “Out in the area on a work trip, and of all the places we could’ve picked to play golf, we were pretty pleased to come across San Marcos. Course is in great shape for the time of year. All the staff were super friendly. Shout-out to Jerry. Gave us a great history of the course and was a pleasure to talk to. It is a tight course and a little challenging, but if you are ever in the area and love golf, be sure to give this place a go.”

“This place was so good, their raspados or kind of like shaved ice tastes natural and they add some fresh fruit on too and in the raspado. They have a great variety of flavors. “Hard not to give 5 stars. From welcome to the moment we left was fantastic. We arrived just a bit ahead of time for a reservation, they showed us to the bar area for a cocktail while we waited. Immediately we had our table and it was one with a view - middle of the restaurant looking to the bar. We ordered the Surf and Turf for two. Perfectly seared and seasoned rib eye, paired with a lobster tail, seared scallops and crispy bacon bites. Enjoyed the old fashioned while my wife had the gin cocktails. Fantastic service”

We wandered in here looking for a night to stay after drinks in DC and didn’t leave for days lol. We had a few cocktails that were on point, my old fashion with Basel Hayden was fantastic by Nick who also brings a great vibe. My lady had a Cosmo the day before that was fantastic by Leslie, she’s awesome! The menu thats apparently new has many great options👌 I had the fish tacos and we shared the thin crust pizza one night, both were great! Highly suggested. Rooms were great, can’t beat this location! Thanks to everyone at the front who made us feel welcome as well.”

“I received a BOGO mailer for Roll Em Up and who doesn't want a deal on food from a new place? I tried 'em out today ordering a 2 taquitos meal with 3 sauces, a loaded street corn, and 2 churros donuts, and pink lemonade. The service was very good. The food was good. It came with my choice of 3 sauces (guac, sour creme, and Lit roll em). The loaded street corn was just okay. For amazing corn, go to Wingstop. But the full cob came in a beverage up with a dome lid allowing the stick to hang out - brilliant! The churros donuts were good, but not a show stopper. You can't use the mailer coupon on an app order; you have to order in the restaurant to get the deal. Second, no drive-thru. The small restaurant is wedged in between Thai Chili and Black Rock Coffee with no parking on AZ Ave and very little parking in the back. Don't let that stop you, but something to be aware of. I'd go back. There are more things on the menu to try out.”

“Went there on a Saturday night. They had a live band and it was amazing. The band was full of energy and played some songs that definitely had us singing from police to despectio. Food was good also. They were out of quite a few of the wines that our friends wanted to order. It definitely does get loud with the band so if you are looking to spend an evening Chatting with friends.. don’t go on a Saturday night. But you have to go one Saturday to experience the fun energy that the band brings. The service was very good also. They do have a few gluten free food options. The portobello tacos were really really good.”

“We had lomito saltado, and at every Peruvian restaurant I have ever visited, the fries are mixed with the beef, and it's what holds the flavor of the entire bite. This restaurant had them on the side. Good flavors, they are a bit small portions for the price. Service was rushed and did not feel friendly when I asked if there was any causa rellena (a traditional appetizer). The answer was, "We only have what is on the menu." I felt rushed every time there was a plate bought to our table it felt like it was thrown. Anyways, maybe it was a bad day for them.”

“BEST ICE CREAM I was visiting this area from Chicago and i found this ice cream place on Yelp as my friend wanted to try some really good dessert place. We drove to Sweet Republic and i simply asked the girl taking the orders that whats your best ice cream and she said - brownie fudge and i tasted it and i liked. I ordered it and when she was making my order, she asked any toppings and i was still looking and thinking- she says marshmallow would go best with it. She used the flame torch for the marshmallow and guess what - it turned out very good. The ice cream eaten with the marshmallow was super amazing. Definitely a place to try They have seating inside and outside as well. And i liked the orange color theme of the place.”

“I was in Scottsdale, AZ for a work trip and I ordered 3 times or multiple different people. I ordered the food via Grubhub. Each time we had our food delivered, it came the exact same way so food quality was not a question. In regards to my salad, the large salad is definitely not skimping on the lettuce and chicken. This salad will keep you full while not sacrificing on the taste. The chicken is definitely the typical chicken you get on a salad, but in their defense there was never any chicken that had attached fat or gristle. I would recommend ordering delivery from this location (via Grubhub)!”
