“Nice but small Starbucks. It has very limited seating here. Saw an ant on the counter. The workers were hardworking. One was sweeping, another taking orders and another making drinks. The area where u get sugar and milk needed to be wiped clean and there weren't any regular sugar packets. Overall, I would give this place 3.5 stars.”

I try to patronize this location as much as I can because it's close to me when I take my breaks but lately they have been doing a sloppy job. 1) my coffee sometimes doesn't have a stopper in it to prevent contamination or spillage, 2) I sometimes order my pastries warmed and it's always cold, 3) but that's also probably because the bag is not properly closed and sealed either... again a big contamination issue especially with COVID-19 floating around and the final issue as of late... 4) I found a piece of plastic in a sandwich I ordered and (5... I guess) when I called the store to complain no one answered the phone. Hopefully if I give them another chance (we're all human after all) I'll have a much more pleasant experience.”

“I have been going to this location since I was a little girl live in Oakland. Once we moved Fremont still was going to this place in San Leandro. I don't want to say they have the best Chinese food. But I will say they have the best Eggroll I have ever tasted my life. So I definitely drive down there just for the egg roll. And it's nice to have a cheap deal! I think they're only like $0.90 per egg roll and they're huge they use to be bigger but still great size. I think the best part about them is they have meat inside real me and not that soggy vegetables that you get from Panda Express. I would give them a five but I can't say that right there Chinese food to really judge them like that but they can take my 4 with the best egg roll ever!”

“Great Place! Attended the "Harriet" movie screening with my Mom & enjoyed myself; my Mom enjoyed herself too. The popcorn was warm from the popcorn maker. The soda was cold and good. The nachos did not seem to be all that bad. The movie itself is really great. At 2+ hours, the movie was informative of struggle for people's freedom. There was plenty of pre-assigned seating which seemed to be something new. The 1:05 pm screening was a Matinee so the tickets were a bargain. A great experience.”

“I've had a lot of good ramen around the Bay Area, and Kanda is definitely up there with them. My wife and I had the vegan ramen and my in-laws had the tonkatsu and the black garlic. Everyone was impressed at the flavorfulness of their dishes. The broth had good flavor and complexity, and the noodles had good flavor and texture. The eggs were cooked well and seasoned nicely. I would have preferred the noodles to have a little more tooth to them, and the broth to have been served a little hotter, but otherwise no complaints. The service was very friendly and attentive without being overbearing. We had our toddler with us and they were happily accommodating. Really excited to have this place in town!”

“Saw the grand opening sign outside for a new restaurant that replaced Shabu House before it. Ordered the dry noodles (with soup) and their popular chicken and duck dishes; both poultries were tender and full of flavor. I especially liked the ever so slightly spicy/sour/vineger sauce for dipping for the duck. My only dig was the amount of time it took for the duck to arrive (20+ min) due to running out of supply and to reboiling again, as mentioned by the waiter. Given this is a new place I'd give it a pass, hence the one star minus. Waiters are really nice however, apoligizing for the long wait time. Will be trying this again later once they've got the rhythmn down.”

The decor is modern with warm woods and soft lighting and wonderful eclectic background music. There is a really nice outdoor area that will be great in the warmer months, though I was there in January. Try the Hand Salad and Spiced Chickpeas, my personal favorites!”

The taste of the fish sauce was completely different from its authentic Vietnamese flavor. It was too salty and the combo of fried noodles mixed with shrimp, pork, and fish sauce had no taste except salt. Although I don't want to completely bash the place because there were other dishes well acquainted to my preferences, the total price of the dish was $19.99. If you want to go to this cuisine, I recommend you order something else.”
