“Nice atmosphere and good food. Not a very big restaurant, but seating is reasonably comfortable. Could get crowded during dinner time. If the management could improve a few things, it would make the dining experience more enjoyable for the customers. (1) Having a host near the door to greet & seat customers would make people feel welcomed. (2) A level of sophistication can be added to the food--e.g. the mint on the desserts look way too big and impacts the artistic presentation of the food. (3) Staff is courteous but not friendly, and gets clumsy when taking away the dirty dishes in front of the customers. Definitely not a 5-star restaurant, but a great place to visit for some good food in the neighborhood. Hopefully it'll get better in the future.”

“Found this place on a whim and instantly fell in love! I get the butter chicken medium spicy every time I go, and try something new along with it each time. I've been very pleased with every dish (although, that tomato-y butter chicken is still my favorite). :) The staff is kind and attentive, but doesn't bother you too much while you're eating (which is great). Will and do drive half an hour out of my way just to go, and it's always well worth the trip.”

“I must say after years of going to El Farolito in Concord and Oakland, my last visit was the only time that I've been dissatisfied. I ordered my usual Burrito and it was very disappointing. It had no flavor whatsoever. I don't know if it was just a off day for the cook or if the quality has gone down. I'll try it one more time to see how it is. If it's not good, then I won't go back to the Concord location any more. The Oakland location is very good every time I've gone, for the last 30 plus years! I've never been disappointed at the Oakland location.”

“I was surprised to find this restaurant in Concord. The name Leisure Dessert might be misleading, since the restaurant serves more than just desserts, which are pretty authentic Chinese desserts that are not found in many Chinese restaurants. The milk pudding comes in different flavors and can be served warm or cold. The coconut desserts are also worth mentioning. They come in several varieties, and are served in a real coconut shell (with young coconut meat still attached). The desserts are just the right sweetness, perfect for people with a sweet tooth but prefer something not too rich. The savory dishes are plenty to choose from. The beef stew noodle soup, the rice plates, and wonton are among my favorites. The only thing is that not all items on the menu are available. It depends on the chef on duty and the ingredients they have in the kitchen. Also, if there's an item that hardly anybody orders, they would stop making it. The restaurant is spacious, so seating is very comfortable. Staff is friendly and service is always good. Highly recommend this restaurant!”

“Free Wifi. Local treat. Date spot. Sparce parking. Recommend the Okinawa or Rose milk teas ????????✨???? Not usually busy, but if it does it dies out pretty quick. Hot spot for college & high school students. Love the late night deals after 8pm. Overall, fun little place in downtown concord. Sadly, they don't have fun games like Jenga or cards anymore since other customers didn't treat them properly. Wish they would replace them~”
