We live up in the High Desert, where the sun shines all the time. Stop by this awesome place on your drive on Hwy 138 between the I-5 and the AV Fwy(14 Fwy). “My daughter asked me to join her for tea at the modern tea house. Was our first visit. We arrived at lunchtime on a busy Friday, no available tables. We were greeted by the owner and given menus, she told us wait would be short, it was. Food was fresh & very flavorful. I had organic peach tea, my daughter had a drink called " eye candy" Sooo good. really great attentive service! worth the wait! definitely recommend. All the pizzas were delicious, I took some home and they were still pretty good as left overs! I'll definitely come to visit and do my work here more often, the environment is nice and quiet to sit and do some work and enjoy their coffee and delicious cookies!! , also I spilled my large iced coffee on the table and they were nice enough to get me a whole new one and still be super nice and helpful throughout the evening. “Went for breakfast after reading reviews. Did not disappoint! Food was fresh and generous portions. Staff was welcoming and attentive. Low key atmosphere and comfortable. Just moved to the AV from Virginia and it felt like a touch of Southern Hospitality that we have have missed. We will definitely be back. My family and I ate here for breakfast last Saturday and we enjoyed it very well. There were many options to choose from, except gluten free, but they're working on changing that. All in all I was very pleased with the decision to visit there.”

“Instead of ordering at the counter I was guided over to the kiosk. Sure the kiosk was good to use but it kind of distracted me and after I got our food I realized I never ordered a drink for my son. We were also disappointed to learn that the play area is blocked off in the morning. We had an hour to kill before school and getting some play time in after breakfast was my number 1 reason for visiting this morning. Food was good though and staff was friendly.”

“I was traveling through and with TripAdvisor's help found this place. I had terrific eggs benedict and hash browns. Everything was served hot and the staff was very pleasant and attentive. Was definitely worth my making the effort for breakfast. This is the absolute BEST breakfast spot in all of Antelope Valley. Actually, this place is probably better than every breakfast restaurant in my hometown of Santa Monica. I was seriously surprised. Now I've become a regular, plus the staff are super nice.”
