“So this is my home SB, I live about 3 minutes away when I get the green light at Studebaker Rd. People are always friendly like the culture is a little different here than the ones on Spring/Palo Verde and Bellflower/Stearns. It's nice here. Maybe because my wife and frequent this establishment and they know us already. It's a good thing really. The drinks made here are a little better too, maybe I'm a little bias but for some reason, the Cold Brew (black/no water) tastes better to me. I think it's because they clean their water filter regularly. That makes a big difference.”

“When I walked in, I was instantly in love with the ambiance, I felt like I was home, it's very cozy. The menu has good variety and the food was delicious. I ordered the Mason Dixie. It consists of eggs on a biscuit with barbecue sauce, chicken, and smothered with corn salsa. It was all very tasty. My only issue was the food I really wanted to order had some kind of pork or black beans. A lot of people don't eat pork, I don't eat beans unless they are cooked in a pressure cooker. The last draw back, they only take cash. It was a good thing that I had cash on me. I DO recommend this place if you want something different and delicious, it's very good food.”

“This is a nice venue. The layout of the restaurant makes it nice and open. The seating areas were comfortably sized and clean. No sticky tables, chairs or carpet, just nice. I went during breakfast on a Wednesday morning with a group of about 10 people, the restaurant was mostly empty and the server was attentive and quick. The food was great, very tasty and well prepared. The portions were a good size, enough to have some left over if you eat moderately. The price was decent, not super expensive, but not super cheap either. I highly recommend it, you should enjoy your visit here.”

We came early on a Saturday and the man at the register told us about his favorites and what is popular. We ended up getting a full breakfast, a cappuccino, a latte, and a chocolate crescent. “Wow the food is awesome here! Huge portions and the food was flavorful, well cooked and delicious. The place is located adjacent and above where the Lorkeets are inside the building. The monster fries take forever to come out! I don't know if they are growing the potato's back there but they are really good! The chicken and waffles sandwich was delicious! We also had the trip and the tomato soup was great. The turkey sandwich was delicious and the salad was so thick and delicious”
