“This Starbucks is amazing… and mainly because of the people, one in particular stood out to me exuding pride grace and such a great attitude…she even remembered my name and it was only the second day she seen me. This employee’s name is Dawn I loved her bright bubbly personality and this Starbucks is lucky to have such an enthusiastic employee and on thanksgiving at that kudos to you Dawn you’re great 😊”

Farmers Market at LAX

Address: 550 World Way, Los Angeles, CA 90045, USA

Restaurant Cafe

“Had a decent experience. Place was not too crowded. Staff was nice and quick. Being a vegetarian had quite a few options to choose from. But drawback was that most of the items were quite expensive. Had a beagle for $4 and it was good. Didn’t have too many options nearby for a grab and go. So, this was decent enough for me.”

“A new addition to the ever growing sawtelle Japan Town. It is Small and cute inside. A perfect flower wall for your Instagram photos. Workers are very friendly. Try the matcha with strawberry mix! The matcha is just perfect. They also have a deep matcha for those who really know the real matcha flavor.”

Chimney Coffee House

Address: 1100 N Main St, Los Angeles, CA 90012, USA

Cafe Bakery Restaurant

“Breakfast here is stellar. Their whole menu is Thai-influenced, so their sandwich selection is unique and really filling! They also roast their coffee and make a lot of other things (such as their sausage patties) in-house which I am always impressed by. The espresso I ordered was a lovely dark roast with strong citrus notes, not for the faint or anti-acidic coffee lover, but absolutely perfect for my tastebuds. Service was friendly and the line wasn’t too long. The supervised lot they’re located in has l parking out front, but during peak hours I imagine it would be difficult to get in. I came around 10:30am on a Wednesday and it was mostly empty. Plenty of outlets, tables and seating for those who need to work remote. The music volume is reasonable and they were playing a mix of ambient and light trap when I was waiting for my food&drink. The only criticism I can think of is that their coffee prices are at least a $1.25 higher than other coffee houses. Since they roast in-house I would expect it to be lower due to being able to save on costs? I could be wrong though, I’ve never run a coffee shop so… in any case, definitely worth a repeat or for you to check out en route to work.”

B Sweet Dessert Bar - DTLA

Address: 727 N Broadway #203, Los Angeles, CA 90012, USA

Bakery Cafe Restaurant

“You can find this place on the second floor in a former Ramen shop. They seem to focus on more Vegan friendly options which is a good thing as non-vegans like us get to explore into other types of recipes. They currently don't do walk-up ordering, which can be annoying to old school people (like me), but using Postmates or Uber Eats is really not that inconvenient. We tried the drip coffee, Ube Cheesecake, Dirty Ube Latte, and Halo-Halo. We enjoyed it all, especially the Halo-Halo which my wife said was good which says ALOT! Can't wait to have a chance to try one of the unique bread pudding desserts in the future.”

Cassell's Hamburgers

Address: 3600 W 6th St, Los Angeles, CA 90020, USA

Cafe Restaurant

“Excellent service. Good standard hamburger made with quality meat on a quality bun. I had the pecan pie. Total about twenty plus tip. I don't recommend the outside seating because of the street peeps.”

Alchemist Cafe & Restaurant

Address: 6258 Wilshire Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 90048, USA

Cafe Restaurant

“This is a place in downtown West Hollywood you couldn’t possibly miss. Scorched in a July summer, I was craving for a refreshing drink and something warm to pair for my lunch - and there was Alchemist. It is a nice Mediterranean setting with warm entry into the place. The waitress was very hospitable. I ordered a fresh lemonade. It was very refreshing. The baklavas and other confectioneries were pulling me in. I had a big lunch started with Kofta Kebab . It is quite a starter. I’d recommend everyone to try the lentil soup. Lemonade didn’t fail to tell its own story. All in all, this is a pretty good place for my Mediterranean cravings. I’ll be back soon. Plus they had free coffee on the day I visited.”

Starbucks

Address: Farmers Market, 6333 W 3rd St, Los Angeles, CA 90036, USA

Cafe Restaurant

“Love this Starbucks in particular. All because of the baristas. It's the people that work here that make it worth coming to this location. They really do try to get to know you AND remember your drink. And it's always the little things like those that make this location special.”

Mountain

Address: 3470 W 6th St #5, Los Angeles, CA 90020, USA

“Great abalone soup! It’s their signature. Ginseng chicken soup was also tasty too.”

Orange Tree Cafe

Address: 3500 W 6th St, Los Angeles, CA 90010, USA

Cafe Restaurant

“I am really not a waffle eater but I've suddenly become a fan after trying this cafe's Belgian waffle. It's huge but cheap. It has almonds, banana, strawberry and cream. The taste was great especially if you eat it with honey. My mom decided to try the Chicken Pesto Panini and the taste was excellent. The meat was flavored well and the bread was perfectly toasted. The foods were great but the smoothies were just okay. We didn't enjoy the smoothies as much as we had hoped. I am not sure how their juices tastes like but I would definitely try one of their veggie juices the next time I find myself here. The cafe has small space but clean and nicely decorated.”

Starbucks

Address: 3465 W 6th St, Los Angeles, CA 90020, USA

Cafe Restaurant

“This Starbucks is brightly lit and have a tall ceiling. So, it looks good. The seating is not that comfortable though. The wifi is good but they blanked out all the outlets. I guess they do not want customers to stay very long here. I was there on NY Eve around 7pm. There was a mentally unstable man talking to himself and sort of intimidating customers there. Fortunately he didn’t stay long. It is probably out of the staff’s control for unwelcome intruders coming through the cafe bothering customers but this kind of things would discourage me to come relax in here. This cannot be a favorite Starbucks for me. Update: There are two all-gender restrooms but one is ‘out-of-order’. There’s a short line for the only ‘of-order’ restroom. The female user before my turn told me there was no toilet paper. I guess the staff doesn’t maintain the restrooms well. Another possibly homeless person came in to the restaurant. A few seconds later a security guard came in and hustled him away. So, either the restaurant or the community is trying to address the issue of unwelcomed wanderers.”

Double Trouble Union (DTU LA)

Address: 3513 W 6th St, Los Angeles, CA 90020, USA

“Wonderful restaurant. We had breakfast 2 mornings in a row here..it was THAT GOOD! The atmosphere was great, music and very modern decor. 👌 I will absolutely return to this restaurant when we return to Los Angeles! Best of luck to you guys!”

Zinqué - Century City

Address: 10250 Santa Monica Blvd Suite 2790, Los Angeles, CA 90067, USA

Cafe Restaurant

“I stopped by on Thanksgiving, and they were in 2-3 places that opened, which I appreciate. I had a chance to experience with non-crowded atmosphere to take photos and have better views/options to choose where to sit. They have a bar area, plenty of seats inside, and many medium to high outdoor seating areas where you can see people walking or the front view of the mall. I ordered the smoked salmon sandwiches and a lavender latte but did not taste much of the lavender. The smoked salmon sandwiches were great, not too heavy, and quick to come out after ordering around 10 mins on a non-peak date of my visit. I tried this restaurant in the Newport Beach area, so I'm not sure how it works during peak times or how long the wait is in general.”

Cafe Landwer

Address: 10250 Santa Monica Blvd, Century City, CA 90067, USA

Restaurant Cafe Bakery

“Awesome dining experience. The breakfast was delicious and great service! The waffles were crisp yet soft. comes with whipped cream, bananas and blueberries. The pancakes are fluffy and delicious. Comes with a fruit bowl and Nutella. The eggs Benedict also fantastic! The breakfast potatoes are to die for! It’s a bit on the pricey side but well worth it.”

Starbucks

Address: 5757 Wilshire Blvd #106, Los Angeles, CA 90036, USA

Cafe Restaurant

“Yesterday I met with a friend in the Wilshire District for ☕ coffee around 5ish in the evening.. I happened to find this location on Google maps. I have never been to this store before. Parking on a Sunday night is fine .. because you don't have to feed the"parking 🅿️" meter. This location is decked out ... I have taken several pictures to share what it looks like.. There is a patio, there plenty of areas to sit down. The service was quick...the store 🏬 was very clean inside . I ordered a pistachio ☕ coffee.. It was delicious..! February 6,2021”

Lo/Cal Coffee & Market - Fairfax

Address: 487 S Fairfax Ave, Los Angeles, CA 90036, USA

Cafe Restaurant

“I stopped by Lo/Cal Coffee one morning to get breakfast. My cappuccino wasn't good, it tasted bland and casual. The breakfast sandwich was pricey, but at least it turned out decent, crunchy toasted bread and tasty bacon with friend egg. It was an early morning and the store wasn't busy at all. However service was slow and cold. The overall experience was unimpressive. The space is kind of nice, with a mini market for crafts and plants.”

Starbucks

Address: Watt Plaza Towers, 1875 Century Park E, Los Angeles, CA 90067, USA

Cafe Restaurant

“I generally hate people and Starbucks ...I like a heavy hand pulled italian espresso... .. but this Starbucks is really on top of their service. This Starbucks is friendly, attentive, clean and even though I am not a fan of their roast, the workers make up for it and their coffee is always hot, food is good too.... 5 star Starbucks.”

Groundwork Coffee Co.

Address: 1501 N Cahuenga Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 90028, USA

Bakery Cafe Restaurant

“One of many coffee houses I have tried, but it didn’t stand out. It has standard coffee choices. ☕️ I had an iced mocha with almond milk and it was good. Breakfast sandwich was simple, but tasty. The baristas were very friendly and the atmosphere was comfortable. 🙌The coffee just wasn’t at the level that the baristas are creating the drinks.”

LAMILL Coffee - Silverlake

Address: 1636 Silver Lake Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 90026, USA

Cafe Restaurant

“Super cute coffee shop with giant tables and big comfy chairs perfect for getting work done. They have an excellent assortment of baked goods and coffees. I only took one star off because they didn't have any decaf coffee and I ordered a decaf espresso, which they gave me cold. Otherwise, I loved the vibes and food here!”

Winchell's Donut House

Address: 1316 N, 1316 Vine St, Hollywood, CA 90028, USA

Cafe Bakery Restaurant

“I don’t know if the staff wasn’t ready to come to work today this place hardly had any donuts available, it was pretty depressing. Luckily, I was just dropping my for an iced coffee and lemonade before a long drive but I was pretty disappointed that I didn’t have many snack options. The staff was friendly and polite but moved at slo-mo Matrix speeds. Note, they had enough staff members to run the place efficiently but some members chose to be lazy or lacked a pep in their step. Several college students and fellow Gen-Zers walked out. I wanted to leave too because we waited a good almost 20 mins but it was late and didn’t want to drive around all over Hollywood for an iced coffee. Some of the older patrons were totally obnoxious so just be warned you may leave with a headache lol.”
