“You have too many choices here, from ice cream to waffel and fudge cakes and soft cookies. I tried the cookie sandwich with ice cream and chocolate melt. It was really good but a little bit big for me since I had dinner earlier and was not that much hungry.”

“Hip place; drinks are good. Clearly they don’t want to be open yet: - Check your temp - make you wear a mask when not eating - Overpriced, low quantity and quality food. - hand sanitizer is the center piece.”

“Brunch LOOKED good, got there right at 3pm so be advised the mimosas for bottomless run had have a hard start at 3. We decided to stay and eat anyway and I’m glad we did. For two of us, we got a burger, truffle fries, calamari, and wings and the food was on point! Service was cool and the vibe inside was nice as well. Definitely recommend”

“The place is a bit hidden, but that gives it the title of "hidden gem". All they have is amazing. Great quality, and pretty original recipes. The staff is great too. We have a toddler and they did all that was in their hands to make us feel welcome. We'll be back!”

“This place is unquestionably one of the coolest place to eat in the area. Anytime I visit this place I am extremely happy. They always keep their very high standard service and the topmost level of dishes they offer. You are always happy with this place. Very recommended.”

“Loved it. The staff was fantastic and were quick to assure us that the food didn't contain any allergens that could affect us. It's the first time I was able to eat a vegetarian burger in years. All the other restaurants put soybeans in theirs. The staff is very knowledgeable about what is used in the kitchen. I would recommend it to anyone who suffers from allergies or sensitivity to food.”

“This combo plate of 3 tacos of your choice (in pic. al pastor, lengua and Chicken Mole) of meat with rice and beans was delicious. The portion of meat on the tortillas were perfect. It over flowed and they tasted amazing. I definitely recommend this place.”

“Upon arrival I was greeted by a friendly older guy so I decided to try the beef bob. It was very juicy but lacked flavor everything else was okay. This would be great if you're a healthy eater or need to watch your cholesterol. For the price it was not filling.”

“We love True Food! The food is delicious, the cocktails are lovely, and the staff are always so friendly. I rarely get anything other than the Ancient Grain bowl because I love it so much but everything I’ve tasted on their menu is amazing.”

“One of my favorite spots to go to day or night. The service is great, always smiling and happy to help you. For a beer drinker like myself, they have a great selection of beers from tap to can. And the food is fantastic, hot dogs, sausage and burgers (the cheese tots are pretty bomb too). Definitely recommend for anyone who is gonna be in the Old Town area!”

“I had the shrimp noods solid lunch option and I will definitely be back. The seasoning was good and shrimp would plentiful but they were a little soft like they were slightly undercooked. Or maybe forozen and thawed. For the price point I was not disappointed but it was something I did notice”

“I love Pop’s Shakes and Burgers vegan impossible burger. So delicious! Better than In n Out because you could definitely taste the difference knowing that it’s a healthier option. Their support towards healthcare workers are deeply appreciated especially during the COVID-19 lockdowns. Thank you so much for providing healthy alternatives to us in the West LA area!”

“Came to see what the hype was all about. Went on a Sunday evening no line. We ordered both the spicy chicken dark meat chicken and the white meat chicken sandwiches with the knockout sauce. The white meat was pretty good. The dark meat was interesting and little more fatty, but add more knockout sauce and makes everything better Hahahaha. I’d give it a 6 out 10. As for the beverages, the yuzu and peach ice tea combo drink is the way to go.”

“This review is primarily focused around Amy, who was incredible. Some of the best customer service I have experience in Santa Monica. Not only was she a smiling face, but she went above and beyond to make sure that my experience was top notch. If management actually reads these, go give her a high five and say thank you again from Wayne. She deserves it. Now, on top of that, the Spicy Tuna Rice Cake blew me away. I have had this dish before. Many times. It's spicy tuna on a rice cake... BUT! This was the best spicy tuna on a rice cake I have ever had. The fresh rice cake was incredible. I was half expected a hard to bite into deep fried platform for my tuna, but the rice cake ended up holding its own. Perfectly crispy and flavored just right. The tuna itself was next level too. I will be bringing myself and my team back here often! Amy, thanks again for the awesome attitude and making my experience an 11/10!!”

“Fresh and tasty grilled burgers. Fries are unique, shaped like potato chips but lightly fried and thicker. Worth the 8 bucks for the meal! Recommended to anyone who doesn't have this chain in their area!”

“The food wasn't as good as the place looks. I feel it needed a bit more seasoning. The ambiance was better. I guess I could go back. It won't be my first choice.”

“Hotel is not on the beach but there is a shuttle to get to it. Note you have to pay $50 something for parking. Hotel bed is comfy. Modern-ish rooms with cool tablets in each room and books you can take home. Loved that they had a turn down service. Be forewarned, if you stay on the side with the Pier view, on a Saturday night the hotel turns into a club and you can hear the music go all night long. It was a bit loud! Had a great few days here, would stay here again.”

“The owner and staff here are super nice. The decor is really nice and relaxing. A very Buddhist vibe. The portions are a little small and the prices a little high but that is to be expected for this Brentwood area. We particularly enjoyed the Chow Chow noodles and the different Nan breads.”

“These guys were doing a good job of socially distancing and spacing out their tables. However because their space is so large there was still a fairly high number of people inside. The staff was friendly and the drinks were really good. I didn't have anything to eat but they do have a nice menu with plenty of items to choose from.”
