“Very nice and quiet place. The rooms are basic but with everything you need to spend a great night. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Our cottage was by the river and in the morning we could it the water nearby. Very relaxing. The kids enjoyed the large outdoor spaces and had a lot of fun with the corn hole. They provided each cottage with fish food so that the kids can feed the trout they grow to repopulate the river. Great place!!!”

“When in town, this is the place to get a green chili cheeseburger. Great location within walking distance of everything. Really nice lady running the window. Some delicious pickled vegetables and peppers complimentary at the pickup window. My wife really enjoyed her fish taco and chocolate shake. The fries that we got to share with our group were perfectly cooked and seasoned.”

“An old high school favorite from Hawthorne. Food didn't disappoint! So good. Super obvious taff doesn't care for people or their jobs. Food and ice cream cones are a 5 star. Staff are a 1 star. I split the difference and rated a 3.”

“Stopped here to eat on the way to Tahoe. The food here is excellent as is the staff! Very helpful, super friendly and inviting. Felt like we were eating at a friend's home. We had a variety of dishes and all were fantastic. The wings, the roast beef dip, the BLT with sweet potato fries, even desserts! All great. Good sized portions that were very filling. Plan to stop and eat here every time I'm in the area. Highly recommended!”

Rhino's Bar & Grille

“Stopped by in our trek from Tahoe to Yosemite. The staff were friendly and quick to serve us. The pizza is down right great. Definitely worth checking out if you're passing through Bridgeport, CA. We were hesitant due to other reviews, but tried it anyway. Those reviews have been easily put to rest in my book.”

Sportsmen's Bar & Grill

Address: 271 Main St, Bridgeport, CA 93517, USA

Restaurant

“Fast and friendly service, the place was clean and one of only maybe three or four places to eat in the town of Bridgeport CA. Which happens to be a very cute pass through town not to far from NV border and a military base. We ordered the taco salad, Caesar salad fish and chips and a beer! Suffice to say the food was served hot and cooked nicely and the beer was ice cold the waitress was incredibly friendly and so was the bartender the atmosphere was relaxing.”

Village Cafe

Address: Sierra High Rte, Bridgeport, CA 93517, USA

Restaurant

“I had a burger, which was good...over priced was my first impression yet wanted to give it a shot again. The amount of fries seemed like a small portion. My suggestion would be price for a single and double or put 2 sides for the price, would've been more reasonable. I've eaten here over the years and can't say it has ever stood out maybe if i stayed at the campground and got to know the workers my impressions may shift. Your paying for the ambience to over look the lake and people watch. Friendly people and typical service for a restaurant. If you want a burger that is the right price and down right delicious, go to The Barn in Bridgeport. The owner is a sweet lady and knows all the locals.”
