“Sierra Meadows is perfectly located just a block from town but feels miles away as you stare out at the mountains and surrounding nature. The cabins are clean and comfortable and have everything you need for a weekend away. Loved that the property is dog friendly and my dog loved getting to slip and slide in the snow with the other dogs. Dos Alas is also a hidden gem and it’s so nice being able to just walk over for a great dinner. Lastly, Mark is wonderful and so helpful as you prepare for your stay!”

“We enjoyed our time at the Convict Lake Resort. We had the Brook Cabin. It was nice and cozy. The cabin was equipped with a gas grill and a decent size fridge. The kitchen came fully equipped. The resort has a store that has pretty much everything you could need. There’s a food truck type grill as well as a really nice restaurant. This place is great. There is definitely some wildlife. We were warned of bears. The dear are not afraid of people either. All of the staff we dealt with were nice and helpful. Convict Lake resort is an excellent cabin resort with so many great places to visit nearby. I hope to stay here again.”

“We've been going here for 20 years and It is my kids favorite place in Mammoth. The pizza is always great and I usual order a salad as well. Very reasonable price, especially for Mammoth. While I've never had any of their sandwiches, I've been told they are very tasty as well. The staff is very friendly and helpful. You order at the counter but they will bring you the food to your table. The soft drinks are self served, and I've never heard anyone complain about how many refills you get. They have several beers on tap, all good and the price is also reasonable. Seating is limited but most people who order do take out or have it delivered. Even with the limited seating, I've never seen them ask anyone to leave, even after you've finished your food. They have several televisions, usually playing sports, but when my children were small they would change the station to play cartoons for them. Parking can also be very limited but I've always been lucky. You can also order a pizza uncooked in case you want to take it back to your condo and cook it later.”

“Pretty much what you would expect from a 3 star hotel. Shower could have been cleaner, there was a stain on the bench, carpet was sticky. Keep your socks on. My dog was very interested in sniffing in the carpet which means its not very clean. No coffee makers in the rooms but they have watery coffee in the office. Bedding was clean and we were just grateful for somewhere to stay during the storm. Microwave and fridge in the room. Our room was quiet, didn't hear a peep from the rooms around us.”

Penne with vodka sauce I would not order again. Not a bad flavor, but not creamy and tasty as I've had elsewhere. Side sald was good, and garlic bread ok... a little dry so ask for some ranch. They make their own ranch which you can also purchase to take home. It's good! Service was decent, but staff didn't seem to have their areas set so multiple people were all over and seemed scattered in their approach. Pricey as expected, but ok for a dinner out.”

“Overall experience was great, our waiter was super cool it was my friends birthday and they surprised her with pancakes and a candle ! My friend loved the pancakes and he sandwich. I got chicken and waffles, the waffles + butter combo was great, I was a little thrown off by the chicken not ganna lie, it was more like a chicken drumstick then the typical boneless fried chicken. It took a minute to take the bones out and eat it with the waffles but it wasn’t bad just a little surprising so keep that in mind if you plan to eat it all together. The place was super homey and cozy so I loved that, if I was busting I’d probably come back again:)”

“Bowling alley and more! You can borrow a board game for an Id card. They have an arcade, ping pong and darts. My family had a lot of fun here. The Bowling is excellent. You can configure automatic bumpers to come up for individual bowlers. Everyone I talked to or interacted with was super friendly. The bar has a good selection of drinks. They even have a self serve water bar. The only downside was the food. The options are pretty good but so many things we ordered weren’t great. Most items tasted good for the first few bites but then just kind of ended up a let down. I’d still come back often. I did not go upstairs to the restaurant. I bet the Brasserie food is excellent compared to the pub/bowling food.”
