“If you have business in court or with the county assessor or the DA's office in Salinas, make some time for coffee or some pastry or a lunch sandwich or salad or some sushi at Jo's Cafe. Very friendly people, great coffee, good food and a friendly space away from that other place you were visiting. I like their mango tango smoothies best (I'm not much of a sushi man myself) but I'm being told the sushi is great a well.”

“I ordered the green curry medium spicy and wow was the food delicious or what I mean it was really good. staff behind the counter were super friendly too. I felt like I was in someone's private kitchen. Food to go worked out really well you could eat there if you wanted to but that's not my style.”

“We ordered Orange chicken, sweet and sour fish, tofu chow mien, tofu pad Thai. Every dish was spectacular. Service was very nice and helpful. Place is clean and food was made fresh with order. It is small. Only two seats per small round table, 4 seat tables outside. In the 50 minutes we were there people came in and out getting take away. I think it showed this hidden gem is known I’m surprised there aren’t more reviews. Honestly I liked so much I’m going back today. I’m excited to try more of their menu. Enjoy!”

“It's pretty quiet here, seat rows are very close to each other. Especially if the person in front of you decides to lean back, they will be In your space. I like to come here regardless because it's always calm in the lobby. It always looks clean whenever I visit. Overall enjoyable.”

“Amazing service. Went because my little sister who recently passed used to work there and I wanted to go and show that I am still here to continue to show my support for this place. She was part of their family. The next time you see her darts, they will be in a display case that I know she would love. Thank you for all the love and support you have shown for Sarah and our family. You will now and forever be part of our family.”

“Mercy! Place was dead at 4:30! Bad sign? I think not! Philly steak and cheese was great. Straight up awesome diner fries. My wife was blown away by the ribeye and mashed potatoes. You can tell that the people cooking the food care a lot. Our waiter, Carlos, is a gem of a human being and good at his job. Well done sir.”

“Don't wanna go back to regular seats! Will be enjoying all movies this way from now on. Movies need to catch on to this. One kd biggest deterrents for me going to the movies is the comfort. I always wanna put my feet up so I need to go when it's not to crowded. But in this case, I wasn't even aware of the other people around me. With so much room! So comfortable! Loved the recliners and the little table is also quite handy!”

“My first time here and a bit disappointing, it wasn't that busy yet they got my order wrong. I had ordered 3 bowls of soup, a salad and a grain bowl. All were to their high standard of taste but they forgot the tomatoe soup and when she did add it I only received the cup size. Bummer, however I will return!”

“Hands down the best taco truck in town, quick, efficient, and delicious! Al Pastor and Birria are my favorite, the pineapple or cucumber salsa mix are a must to add on to your food. You have to get a crepe to finish off the deliciousness. Can get busy on weekends, obviously but, worth the wait!!!!”

“Lovely gallery. The art in there is very beautiful and very interesting and you can buy it and other souvenirs. They have a cafe and I had banana bread. It was quite tasty and moist; although pricey ($5) but what can you expect from a tourist area. The views from the upper patio were absolutely beautiful. They have bathrooms there. It's a nice stop while winding up or down hwy 1.”

“You pay for the view. The food is just ok, a little overpriced for what you get. The view is the highlight! I prefer this over Nepenthe as the view is nicer and its generally less packed.”
