“The food is pretty but you can find better elsewhere in town. Their salsa is their winning item. Service is inconsistent; sometimes great and sometimes sub par. The restaurant can be close to empty and you still wait a long time for food sometimes. It’s good for once in a while but you can eat for less elsewhere and usually enjoy the food more too.”

“I feel for some time already that I owe this place a review and I do not usually write reviews. My wife and I were travelling last year on Christmas day we made a small detour as hunger brought us to this gem. Everyone at the place was extremely polite and nice and food was the best taco and burrito we ever had. The owner explained why they do not have avocado in their food but he was kind enough to brought me one from his store next doors and yep avocado was awesome touch to it. Really enjoyed the experience and food especially.”

El Sinaloense may be the best in King City, based on salsa, beans and rice alone. This is a sit-down, but pay at the front, kind of place, but you can order up-front too. “We ordered a vegetarian pizza with bacon. The ingredients tasted fresh and the crust was nice and crisp. They only took about 10-15 minutes on a weekday afternoon to get our pizza to us. We had wanted to eat it there and have a beer with lunch but the beer selection was atrocious. Not one IPA on tap. Just a bunch of swill and Mexican beer. Yuck! So we took our pizza to go and bought good beer at Safeway. If they offered decent beer we would go back and eat in.”

“The food here was great. Not immediately off the freeway for travelers, not unreasonably far for something fantastic on your way to the bay. The cocktails were great and we tried two sandwiches that were both awesome. The staff was great and everything came out quickly. If you're headed north take the extra 10 minutes to stop here instead of fast food.”
