“I ordered Bun Bo Xao for $13.11. It's alright. $13.11 is rather inexpensive for this item. The picture looked like there's a lot of meat, but it's really just crumbs spreaded on top to make it look like it's a lot. It does have plenty of veggies so ppl that prefer veggie will like it more here. Gonna try their soup next time during lunch”

“Food was delicious. I ordered the Laotian BBQ rib plate with fried rice. Side salad was tasty and fresh. Fried rice had a good flavor and the ribs were well cooked and seasoned. The only downside were the multiple bone fragments I ended up having to pick out of my bites after finding them in my mouth. Maybe a different cutting and cleaning process would help alleviate this problem. Otherwise delicious food and great service.”

“Most of the time they make my coffee perfectly. But every once in a while my coffee comes out different (weaker) because I guess someone has a different perspective to how much cream goes in and they're putting too much. Too much cream just ruins the whole thing and I have to order another shot to fix it. I wish everyone would follow the same measurements.. their mistakes are costing me extra. I mean a triple shot drink sounds like they want it strong. 🤷 🤷🤷 p.S. I did ask a male employee to remake it he was rude about it and offered to throw another shot on top and it still was not right. I had to ask a female employee to remake it and she did it perfectly. So in reality I had to ask them twice to remake it because the first guy didn't want to. They always get mad to remake it so it is not my first choice to ask them to remake it. I'd rather go somewhere else than deal with their mistakes and attitudes.”

“I ate there for a breakfast burrito. It was good. It suffers though from the trend where people think a breakfast burrito has to be gigantic and difficult to eat, to be good. The contents were good, but full size sausage links, and full size potato wedges, could have been cut up and increased the deliciousness. The restaurant had a young vibe, cranking pop music videos on flat screen. Color patterns and decorations supported the vibe. They also had $5 homemade Horchata and other drinks. It was great, but I was caught off guard by the price tag. $8 for the large. Hmmm... May also indicate my being outside the targeted age group ;) I would go back and try the tacos, etc., but I will go down the street to Ham n Scram for the breakfast burrito.”

“I bought 2 things here. Their banh cuon was very good. Their banh mi was not. It's a xoi place so I wasn't expecting their sandwiches to be that great and it wasn't.they had pre-made banh mi sandwiches laying out on the counter. That's a first...I was wondering why. Catering order not picked up/canceled? There could be several other reasons but regardless, it wasn't that great of a Vietnamese banh mi sandwich. Lacked flavor. I think it was the fact that it was pre-made that was a turn off. It's because when I opened up the sandwich, the sliced cucumber and other veggies were not fresh looking at all, like wilted veggies. Banh mi sandwich meat touching veggies for a time will simply make the veggies not so crunchy any more, etc. Would I get banh mi here again? Doubtful. Would I come back and get something else? I'd say yeah, give it another shot. Not liking the fact that they sort of brag about how many quarts of coffee they sell a day on one of their photos. Kind of weird yo. Here's the thing...I have driven past this place countless times and it's never really that busy so to have premade food sitting on the counter is always something that should be kept in mind. Banh cuon, I understand more so than banh mi sandwiches.”

“We ordered to go twice in one week because we enjoyed it so much. The gentleman who served us both times was delightful and the chicken is fantastic! I noticed how clean it looked behind the counter. The location is convenient to stop off of Ball or Walnut. Highly recommend!”

“The food was delicious. I love the cueritos (pickled pork skin) as they were the perfect texture for me; I dont like them super soft. We got the 10 taquito plate to share with my husband. We got 5 beef, 5 potato. The pickled chiles and carrots were good too. They seemed fresh, not store bought. The "yellow" salsa had a kick to it and very good on the taquitos. It needed more salt however its better to be under not over. Nothing some salt packets won't fix as (plus I must add) my taste buds are salty. We were driving away thinking of going back again. It was worth the 30 mile drive.”

“We've been coming to El Gallo Giro for what seems like forever. This is one of their newer locations. Since we were in the Anaheim area we decided to check it out. We were surprisingly disappointed. We used to LOVE their carne asada. Now it tastes like it has no flavor. The tamal was ok, the Caldo de Res lacked flavor, the quesadilla and tacos de Busche were probably the best items. The burrito was just ok, the carnitas inside the burrito were on the dry side and lacked flavor. We were also disappointed that they didn't have some of our favorite agua flavors like Mango or Fresa de leche. It's one of their smaller locations but has outdoor seating. The pan dulce selection is tiny compared to some of their valley or downtown locations. Maybe we'll stick to some of the other locations and keep to select items. Also, we were mostly disappointed by the cost. I know prices are high everywhere, but these prices seems ridiculously high. Our family of 5 used to eat here for $60, today the bill came to $110. $15 for a bowl of soup with 3 small pieces of meat and root vegetables? Come on, not even Disneyland's bowl of soup is $15. Just wow!”

“Hidden spot but nice and clean. Tried the crispy pork bao, garlic noodle with fried chicken, Cajun fries, and chicken pho. It was all delicious with clean presentation. If you like garlic, gotta give the garlic noodles a try, it was yummy. I’d definitely come back to try other items on the menu.”

“Sushi Fire lived up to its name — FIRE. Every roll we got was delicious. Our favorites hands down were the Demon Roll and Japanese Lasagna (which has cream cheese!). We also got the Kamikaze, Double Salmon, Shrimp Lover and Bake Scallop and they were all delicious. The devices was also attentive and fantastic. The reviews don’t lie yall.”

“Love this place. Very clean and the customer service is outstanding. Love that their breakfast menu is available open to close. I don’t have to go to a Denny’s to have breakfast for dinner. I had steak and eggs. A + for flavor and presentation. I tend to eat with my eyes first. Troy’s didn’t disappoint I appreciate the perfect grill lines and my over easy eggs with the yolk still intact. With a side of beautifully slice avocado muah 💋 chefs kiss TY Troy’s”

“I wanted to try something new and I’ve heard about Korean fried chicken so I googled a place and took a chance, I was not disappointed. All of the food was amazing and seasoned perfectly well, and the portions were enough for two people. The owner mentioned he came from Korea to open this business and he was very kind and accommodating to my needs. Support your small businesses this man will definitely do well.”

The sandwich as a whole was perfect. Good portion also! The service was quick, and friendly! I will be coming in often now!”

“🇻🇳 VIETNAM (via Eat the World Los Angeles) - An order of chả cá hà nội ($16) brings a portable fire to your table. Add to the already cooked pieces of fish and greens with dill and peanuts from the plate it comes with. Anyone who has traveled to or lived in Hanoi will have eventually found their way to the city's old quarter and the street named for the dish with many places to try chả cá. It is somewhat of a symbol of Hanoi, and has been enjoyed in this do it yourself form for over a century. The meat of the fish is tinged yellow by turmeric, and when ready can be dipped in mắm nêm, an intensely pungent fermented anchovy paste.”

“We’ve tasted every item on the menu and Master Chef Minh Thuyen’s cooking never disappoints. As Buddhist vegetarians, we’ve been avid supporters since the previous location on Trask Ave. It’s rare to find an eatery where everything is seasoned to perfection and portions are great for the price, making this a to-go spot for our non-vegetarian relatives.”

“I got here around noon and there wasn’t a wait to order. The food was ready within 10 minutes. The charburger was great! It came with cheese, onion, lettuce, pickles and tomato. The fries were soft and the tempura battered green beans were great as well. They do need to clean the tables and floors better for people who are dining in. Also, you can’t use a bathroom without a code.”

“First time trying this new hot chicken place. I must say I wasn’t too impressed. First and foremost is the price. $20 for a chicken sandwich combo is pretty high but I figured if it tasted great then it is worth it. The chicken sandwich: I ordered mine mild, I had a bit of heat still which I don’t mind but I found the chicken breast was pretty dry, maybe over cooked. The mild sauce was missing, meaning the breast wasn’t as wet as I was expecting. The bun was also dry. The size of the chicken breast fillet was huge, the portions are great. The crimson sauce is pretty good. I ended up dipping my sandwich in it. The fries: I really wanted to like the fries but I found the seasoning they used on my fries made it very salty. If I would have known I would have gone with light seasoning. The staff in the restaurant are very nice and hospitable. The store is very clean and it seems like your order is made to order. I may give it another try but I’ll order a different sandwich and definitely light seasoning on my fries and the price is differently a big factor. Edit: not sure how to contact crimson Coward through a DM on google business as requested”

“Usually order online so that way it is ready when I get there. Really like the fresh ingredients they offer for the sandwiches. This is a new location so there is still a learning curve and if a mistakes happens they have gone over and beyond to make better. It is nice having a new sandwich shop since not too many new restaurants open.”
