“The Almond Tree Grill and Lounge has been an icon in the entertainment scene since 1978. The lounge features live music, dancing and karaoke four nights a week. It's a neighborhood dive bar and a favorite with the locals. There is a small stage for live music. If cigarette smoke bothers you, I'd sit as far away from the smoking area as possible. The smoking area is a covered outdoor area and the smoke travels inside the lounge every time someone opens the door, which is often. This is a good date spot for strong drinks and people watching. “We had Lamb Chili Momo, Cauliflower Manchurian, Chicken Pakora, and Lamb Chow Mein. We also enjoyed a cup of chai. Food is very good, and it came out fast. I enjoyed the lamb momo and lamb chow mein the most. The chicken pakora was very crispy and tender, and the cauliflower manchurian was good.”

“Always busy, always slow in line to make a purchase. Usually only 1 person at a time ringing up, even with a line out the door. Be ready to wait 10-15mins to get to the counter. & They usually have a machine or two that's broken at any given time, but that's on the owner, not the workers. Nice people, though. Beware their breakfast sandwiches, there's Pablano peppers in the eggs (not sure why, that's a highly uncommon ingredient to put in eggs) which are *spicy. Found out the hard way & I can't eat spicy food. I didn't know the pablano on the label meant spicy peppers, I thought it was a type of cheese or spread. Since I've never had them before, I didn't know. Packaging should say "Spicy!" on the label somewhere.”

“This place used to be AhiPoke, and I stopped going since it was clear that AP was going downhill. But since the owner of I Fish Poke took over, the place feels revitalized! Food is great (I’m a particular fan of the fish taco trio and spam musubi), and the owner is always ready and willing to converse, which brings a personable feel to the joint. Very happy and hopeful for the future of I Fish Poke!”

The menu offered a delightful variety of authentic dishes, including Ramen and Sushi. I had the medium pork Ramen and it was bursting with flavor and freshness. “I really liked this place. All 4 protein toppings were incredible quality and tasted amazing. The service was excellent and it was super clean inside. 15$ for a 4 protein scoop bowl was super good in my opinion. I loved my boba as well. The only thing I will do different next time is ask for sauces on the side. They were simultaneously too sweet and too salty for me and with the fish tasting as good as it did I want to enjoy more of the fish flavor and less of the sauces. I am coming back!!! So happy this place finally opened.”

Just walking up to the place, it smells great, with multiple smokers cranking away outside. I ordered a turkey deli sandwich and a brisket Mac bowl. The sandwich had great, peppery, smoked turkey but the roll that it came on was very dry and maybe a little stale. It kind of tanked the sandwich (which was NOT typical sandwich price range at 16 dollars!!!) I asked for extra Mayo but there wasn’t enough (given the dryness of the bread). I think if you got a fresh or even locally sourced roll - the sandwich would be killer!! The brisket and mac and cheese were both soo tasty, but I wish there was more brisket on there given that it cost 17 dollars…. Also enjoyed the coleslaw and the BBQ sauces.”

“I'm so grateful I saw this place from the freeway! I wasn't even planning on getting food...but I did need to get out and stretch. And duh, I love little places! Everyone was super nice! They have a very small inside seating area, but a very cute, half inside half outside, sitting area. Food was great! The Al Pastor taco came with pineapple. That was new to me, thanks! I rarely get much cheese, but vacation rules were in effect and I got a queso birria ... I highly recommend that! The salsas were good, not very spicy, unless I missed it. Very tasty though. Thanks guys and gals for a great meal and being so friendly! You got a great spot to stretch at and grab some grub! Side note, if you have picky kids...they have mini corndogs and chicken strips and fries and stuff. My kids were happy with it.”

“Took my family here to try a new Indian restaurant in town. I've eaten a lot of Indian; from So Cal, to England, to the Bay Area. This was remarkable quality. Food was very fresh, the flavors were defined, outstanding and remarkable, service was fast and polite, pricing was extremely reasonable, especially considering the high quality. If you haven't tried them yet, you should make it a point specifically. They also take phone orders. 10/10 we will be having another meal from here in the next 30 days.
