“The Bartender, Harrison, was also our Wait person. He did an awesome job and made me feel very special for my birthday. The food was fresh and over the top, tasty! After dinner we continued the party outside w/new friends from Australia as we kept the cold drinks coming and enjoyed the mellow music, as the misters kept us cool. Had so much fun we closed the place down!”

Melvyn's Restaurant & Lounge

Address: 200 W Ramon Rd, Palm Springs, CA 92264, USA

Night club Restaurant

“It was about 10 years ago but fabulous food, service, and atmosphere. I still remember that dinner from that long ago. Even during the week in August there was a great piano player playing during dinner. Service was excellent. Food was presented beautifully and delicious. Cannot say enough good things about our experience there. Thinking about it, I may have to plan a trip to Palm Springs just to have dinner. If in the area, I would definitely plan for a romantic dinner here.”

Mr. Lyons Palm Springs

Address: 233 E Palm Canyon Dr, Palm Springs, CA 92264, USA

Restaurant

“They've have a great bar with great happy hour. The bar is more of the old school type, it's darkly lit, they've got great mixed drinks, the staff is super nice, it's like that swanky lounge type bar. They also have a really cool bar outside and around the corner of the building that we didn't know about. I forget the name but you enter from the back of the building and they have outdoor bocce ball and some outdoor space to hang. Sometimes it's closed for a private party so you may want to check before you go. The food here is great as well but we always tend to stay on the bar side. Some people dress really nice and some people dress more casual desert style. Their staff must enjoy working there because they always seem to be in a great mood and very friendly. Cheers”

El Mirasol Cocina Mexicana

Address: 140 E Palm Canyon Dr, Palm Springs, CA 92264, USA

Restaurant

“Wonderful Dinner Salad. Perfect chips and salsa. Definitely worth the trip to El Mirasol. I had take out and the order was complete in minutes. Fresh ingredients made for intense flavors.”

Miro's Restaurant

Address: 1555 S Palm Canyon Dr ste h-101, Palm Springs, CA 92264, USA

Restaurant

“This restaurant, in my opinion, is likely the best restaurant in Palm Springs. The setting, either dining room and patio, is lovely. Service staff follow European service standards. The food -- a good range of fish, meats, poultry and at least one vegetarian option (though you can combine salads and starters to achieve a very agreeable veggie meal) is beautifully prepared and presented. Cocktails are expertly prepared.”

Kiyosaku Restaurant

Address: 1555 S Palm Canyon Dr, Palm Springs, CA 92262, USA

Restaurant

“This is by far the best sushi restaurant in the desert. Kiyo uses only the best and freshest ingredients but beware, there is a price tag attached. His special grapefruit teems with beautiful raw fish and a generous piece of king crab. His California roll is made with a whole crab leg but don’t order this if you can’t bring yourself to pay $35. This is not the place to order individual pieces of sushi but rather hear out the daily specials and recommendations. DO NOT attempt to change the menu or ask for substitutions. Kiyo runs a traditional restaurant. Read the back of the small menu and you will understand his explanation. Keeping with tradition, they are closed on Wednesday and now have added another day off with Tuesday. It is small with limited seating so arrive early. And hurry as retirement is just around the corner.”

Spencer's Restaurant

Address: 701 W Baristo Rd, Palm Springs, CA 92262, USA

Restaurant

“This the 3rd visit in a year or so that we've made to Spencer's. Each time has been excellent. I love this place They don't mark their wines up too much, the food is excellent and they have a great mix of old school (yep liver) and super modern (crispy skin white fish) that was phenomenal. most importantly the wait staff are really nice people. Tonight we had Gregg, what a really lovely guy and so passionate about the restaurant and its mission. Highly recommended”

Peaks Restaurant

Address: 1 Tram Way, Palm Springs, CA 92262, USA

Restaurant

“I must admit that the evening started out shaky with the seating and appetizers but it was quickly resolved by the staff leading to a fantastic evening. The views are amazing and if you give it a bit of extra time after the sun sets, the whole city bursts with lights. The food could be better but the dessert was amazing. As for the drinks, I'm not sure if it was the 8500 altitude or their potency but they hit hard.”
