“Take out only. It’s part of Sac Eats so order online and don’t get stuck waiting in the hood for it to be prepared. Literally the place is surrounded by homeless. I wouldn’t pick up food there at night. It was scary during the day. Stick to DoorDash. Food is very good though. I’ve been to the Folsom location plenty of times. It’s nice to have one closer to home.”

“I came here a few weeks back on a Friday around lunch time. The place has a nice sized parking lot. The entrance is on the left size I was a bit lost a first. Anyways, going inside it has nice decor and they have Televisions with music playing. They have two Lobby’s to choose from. I walked inside then was seated after I asked if I could sit somewhere. The waitress came and dropped a menu off. I looked it over and first time I noticed the prices were pretty steep compared to other marisco places around town. I ordered the Plato de Camarones a La Kora and an agua de Jaimica. Meanwhile the waitress brought me tortilla chips and ceviche. That was a first. Normally at all marisco joints they bring out tostadas. So I asked her for some and some mayonnaise. They brought those in plastic wrap and the mayo in little containers. My food arrived pretty quick and looked delicious. The sauce here gave the camarones a good flavor to them. I really like the way they prepare it much better than other places. The only downside is these were the hardest shrimp I have ever peeled. The food was good I give it a 7/10. I asked for a cup of water at the end and they DO NOT give you cups of water. They sell you a bottled water. For myself getting the plate, drink, and a water was almost $40. It was good but for that price I’d rather go somewhere else.”

“This was a wonderful first experience at Dave’s Hot Chicken! We got here and Abby, the amazing worker at the register, was so friendly and helpful! Since we had not been here before we asked about how hot certain flavors would be. She was SO knowledgeable and really knew the flavors and levels of heat! The Reaper is killer, pun intended 😝. Otherwise my Hot was just right. Thanks Abby!!!”

“We were in the downtown of Sac, but we heard very good things about this place and decided to drive there, we did not regret it. The atmosphere is great, music, decoration. They were a little understaffed, but the waitresses did a great job with an amazing attitude. We ordered the 18” Como pizza and it was delicious and we are very happy with the experience.”

“All you can eat for $47… I have no problem paying when the food is delicious! There was one roll we never got a picture of and that was the Monica roll. It was our first order and the last because it was so good. The shrimp tempura and veggie tempura never made it on camera either. The server was great. He suggested the Monica and Henry rolls as well as the bulgogi fries. All of which we ordered twice because it was so good. Thank you Pier 50 for a lovely, delicious Mother’s Day dinner.”

“The cheese dog and pepperoni, jalapeno pretzel were really good. It was hot and fresh. The prices are high though. The employees were polite and fast. They made sure to give me a fresh baked one when the new ones came out the oven.”

“This is a stand in the middle of the mall in front of JC Penney. The macarons tasted fresh, but the smallest item you can buy is 6 macarons for $22. The macarons are imported from Belgium I think. There isn't a set menu anywhere, just a display of gift boxes with prices, and the smaller options aren't displayed. Everything comes in gift boxes, so you can't buy just one or two macarons if you're passing by. There isn't any dedicated dining space. I've posted their flavor chart and the box display with prices. The staff were nice and it's just opening, so the service is understandably a little slow. I saw their grand opening on Facebook, but they had all the samples behind the counter and were just catering to the people already in line.”

“Some of the best Italian food I’ve had not only in Sacramento but it is just as good as the authentic Italian food my Nonna makes! The owner provides the best customer service! 10/10 would recommend (gotta try to the pesto pasta!!)”

“Randomly stopped here while out on some errands and wanted some lunch. Got 4 Pastor tacos for $11. The meat was perfectly tender and marinated, the tortillas are good and the salsas are great too. Although there are some things I could see people not liking about this place and that is the salsa not being self serve. It doesn’t come in a container, it’s served on the taco. For me it’s the perfect amount of salsa but for people who like to choose how much salsa they get it could be off putting. The little trailer is only ran by the sole owner so have patience when ordering. Will be coming back soon. 4.8/5.”

“This is definitely a spot to check out. They have some unique offerings that you can’t find anywhere else in the area. They operate out of a window next to one of the best mochi shops in state. Staff is friendly and service is pretty quick. The katsu sandwich here is phenomenal. Really love the balance of textures and flavors.”

“Steak tartare was real nice. Had a bit of spice and the beef was ground well. The ambiance was good, we sat at a high top at the bar. We had 3 different people helping us so it was a bit weird on the service. At times we were left alone for a long period of time. Overall it was a good experience.”

“Very nice staff and beautiful and clean place to sit and enjoy a coffee. I recommend their breakfast sandwich. I wonder why this branch is so different than the other one on 21 st. They’re not as nice and their cafe isn’t as clean despite their nice location”

“It appears the City of Sacramento has soon a nice job at providing food and drink establishments around the Golden 1 Center-House Kitchen & Bar is one of them. Within a block of the center situated in the lower floor of an office tower, I found House Kitchen & Bar convenient. They won out on other establishments because I could make a reservation. There’s a bar with high stools as you enter and a see thru to kitchen as you head toward the dining area. Service was prompt and friendly. We chose a pomegranate cocktail and their version of an old fashion. Both were good not spectacular. Requests we made to our meals (steak and French dip) were spot on and followed up by the server-an added plus to service. The French dip came with bottomless fries however I did not partake in the offer. Our experience was good. Check the “inside” pics others have posted to get a feel for the ambiance. They were spot on. A brightly lit dining room, not so cozy or intimate but served the purpose of grabbing a good tasting meal served by professional staff. Restrooms were clean and in the business center lobby.”

The restaurant was empty.. maybe it is Wednesday’s mood 😎 Highly recommended 👍👍👍 Nice staff 😇 we have tried lunch special menu for 16 eurs for 🍕 pizza with 4 toppings, soft drink 🥤 and salads 🥗 of your choice. 6 chicken 🐔 tenders were quite big also, but we have managed to eat it 28 usd for two people sounds affordable + tip so we have spent over 30 usd”

“Excellent service and friendly staff! The owner is awesome and very nice. The food is the best I've ever had at tapas. I will be a regular at this place and recommend it for a good night out or to watch some sports. The short ribs are to die for! So tender and a lot of flavor, definitely my favorite.”

“We went during Octopus Baja's soft launch, and the food flavors and presentation are spectacular! They just added their first octopus dish two days ago, and it didn't disappoint. The passionfruit mezcal margarita was so tasty. They did a nice job on the interior of the restaurant also, and they plan on adding an outdoor bar with seating in time for the summer months. Highly recommend ed!”

“If you are thinking the food at a location with pool tables can’t be great, you would be wrong. Wings are super crispy and flavorful, fries are great and sliders are delicious. This place has a cool laid back vibe, pool tables, great food and beer. I’ll return for sure.”

“Chicken Shanghai Lumpia was pretty good. Chicken seemed a little salty, but the consistency was good, and the sauce was delicious. The price for 9 lumpia was a lot. Service was fast and courteous, and the food was nice and hot. Maybe a little more sauce could be desired. Ask for extra, maybe. Anyway, good job, guys, and thank you!”

“First Timer! Was not greeted in a friendly manner. Walked in....waited to be seated when I was asked if I wanted to order not realizing that you placed your order at the counter! Ordered a Chili Rellano and a Pork Tamale alacart. . Food was on 2 separate cold plates with lettuce and a slice of unripe tomato. Food was not hot....not tasty.... Best part was the warm chips and Salsa Bar.”
