“Steak tartare was real nice. Had a bit of spice and the beef was ground well. The ambiance was good, we sat at a high top at the bar. We had 3 different people helping us so it was a bit weird on the service. At times we were left alone for a long period of time. Overall it was a good experience.”

“It appears the City of Sacramento has soon a nice job at providing food and drink establishments around the Golden 1 Center-House Kitchen & Bar is one of them. Within a block of the center situated in the lower floor of an office tower, I found House Kitchen & Bar convenient. They won out on other establishments because I could make a reservation. There’s a bar with high stools as you enter and a see thru to kitchen as you head toward the dining area. Service was prompt and friendly. We chose a pomegranate cocktail and their version of an old fashion. Both were good not spectacular. Requests we made to our meals (steak and French dip) were spot on and followed up by the server-an added plus to service. The French dip came with bottomless fries however I did not partake in the offer. Our experience was good. Check the “inside” pics others have posted to get a feel for the ambiance. They were spot on. A brightly lit dining room, not so cozy or intimate but served the purpose of grabbing a good tasting meal served by professional staff. Restrooms were clean and in the business center lobby.”

“We went during Octopus Baja's soft launch, and the food flavors and presentation are spectacular! They just added their first octopus dish two days ago, and it didn't disappoint. The passionfruit mezcal margarita was so tasty. They did a nice job on the interior of the restaurant also, and they plan on adding an outdoor bar with seating in time for the summer months. Highly recommend ed!”

My spouse and I each ordered the chicken gyro combo with fries (definitely worth paying an extra $1 for feta crumble on the side). The food was delicious and the ambience was great. Both are served in the same size tiny pouch that anyone would consider a small. And even with that they don’t even fill the pouch. I’ve ordered twice and it was the same both times so I’d have to assume that’s the norm. Maybe they treat delivery orders differently than eat-in. (?)”

“Second time here. First was as part of a big group activity. Service and food were great at that time. Came back for a date night. Service was still high quality. Cocktails were good. “If you want authentic Thai, Laos and Hmong food, give this restaurant a try. Their boat noodles are on point, papaya salad so far the best I have in Sacramento. We order beef larb medium rare extra spicy and it's delicious, it has lots of rice powder and herbs. The angel wings came out perfect and tasty. The Thai tea is just a bit too thick for my taste but to some it may be perfect. My overall review of their food is a 10! Will be going back again soon.”

“Another really good restaurant for Nepalese Indian food. The Lamb Vindaloo isn't listed on the menu, but they do have it. It was awesome. Different than most of the others I have had. It had a nice mildly sweet tomato flavor on the sauce. The Kema and Garlic Basil Naans were good. That is the only thing that I have had better. But they are still very good. The Mango Lassi was nice and thick. Good flavor. I would definitely come back. The people were Awesome. Great customer service”
