“Rented out this venue for a baby shower . The owner was extremely helpful in our email correspondence. Great customer service when we arrived. Workers asked if we needed help with anything and was helpful with anyone who needed drink choices and/or opinions. Layout was really nice and spacious. I’ve been recommending to anyone in need of a venue or just look for a chill spot where you can also drink Lol 10/10. Thank you!”

“I recently had the pleasure of dining at Curries & Biryanis in Folsom, and it was a great experience. The warm ambiance and the scent of spices promised a treat for the senses. The buffet spread was extensive, offering a variety of authentic Indian dishes that were rich in flavor and prepared with care.”

“No hats allowed. There are long stairs leading to the venue (there’s also an elevator) but it gets incredibly hot in the building and there are only a few small fams to keep you cool. Staff was friendly and the bartender has a heavy pour. They apparently can’t make Moscow mules or whiskey sours so if you like Jack and Coke you’re good. Otherwise they have beer. Not a place for specialty cocktails besides margaritas and palomas.”

“The food is fresh and consistently good. I appreciate that they seem to use quality ingredients. The workers are friendly, and the restaurant is clean. It's a great place to meet a friend for lunch.”

“I really enjoyed the food here. Being that My husband is Nicaraguan and having lived there myself, we are always looking for good Nicaraguan food. I search in almost every city we pass through and to my surprise I found this place. It is a family run buisness and they made us feel as though we were family as soon as we arrived. I ordered gallo pinto, queso frito, tajadas, and jugo de calala. It was some of the best Nicaraguan food I've had at a restaurant. My husband had the same with the addition of carne desmenuzada. Everything was flavorful and delicious. Just make sure you are not in a rush when you go. Everything is homemade and takes time to get to you, but it was worth the wait.”

“I didn’t have high expectations, but this is a solid place to get a burrito. One of my top 5 in Sac. I had the asada super burrito. It was big and tasty. Quick service too.”

“Came in a Sunday at lunch with I people. Was pretty much packed but they moved some tables around to accommodate our larger group. All the dishes were solid. Salt and pepper pork, green beans, fillet eggplant, roast duck, and a few others I don't remember. Parking lot is small-ish and has tight spaces. Workers don't really check in on you but that's normal for a Chinese restaurant.. oh, walnut shrimp was good too. Skip on the Malaysian chow fun next time though.”

“We enjoyed Delcy's (the owner) cooking for the first time last night -- spanakopita and Armenian lentil stew, served with fresh bread and two different salads. Will definitely go back to see what her menu, which changes often, has to offer.”

“Been here a handful of time now and have always been pleased! The beer is great, the service is amazing. Food is pretty decent too. They have a nice outdoor seating area as well as seats inside with lots of fans. Great place to grab a beer in any weather. Parking is street parking, but we've never had any issues getting a parking spot. There are like 2 spots in a tiny little lot, but I always just plan to part on the street out front.”

“This place is a hidden gem! It’s got the best items from other restaurants all in one location! I’ve been here twice and each time I’m pleasantly surprised by the portions. Right off the bat, the chicken sandwich is HUGE and absolutely tasty. The biggest sandwich I have literally ever seen! We got it in mild spice, but it was still packing a punch without the bread, slaw, and pickle I’d be quick to grabbing some water. The mild tendies are in the same boat, absolutely giant and I did in fact need water. Their signature sauce is similar to that of Cane’s but it’s got its own goodness that pairs perfectly with the chicken and fries. Soy garlic wings remind me of bonchon, but the sauce is sweeter and the wings are larger, I definitely like it way better. Spicy soy garlic chicken nuggets (sorry forgot to take a pic of them) are slightly different in taste from the regular soy garlic, it wasn’t spicy in my opinion but it was just as delicious! Everything from the portions, the music, take out box design, and the graphics in the restaurant are outstanding. 15/10 will absolutely recommend. Excited to try the loaded fries next!”

“This place is right outside of Sac State and the food on campus is kind of atrocious: Chando’s, Panda Express, outdated mediocre chains like TOGO’s & Baja Fresh, and multiple Starbucks… it’s quite sad. But this place is quite a gem to be able to have multiple restaurants operate in one kitchen. It’s kind of obscure and easy to miss and you have to park in the street because the lots are for delivery drivers only. A star is being taken away because all ordering is done online. I’m not very tech savvy and I like to pay for food by walking up and just paying cash… but you can’t do that here ¯\_(ツ)_/¯. Along with the lack of a push/email/ or text notification about when the food is ready to be picked up and standing in the hot sun was sort of bad for a pale person like me… For the food I ordered a Nash + Proper (med+) Chicken Sandwich & an Okie Dokies cheeseburger and both were delicious! I will be back to try out the other restaurants for Japanese food, sushi, or a Cubano sandwich. It’s a pretty neat concept and I hope there are more locations like this but with better parking & an option to walk up to order with cash payment lol :P”

“Great find! Small inside but the food makes up for it! Generous portions, got the tacos plates which come with rice and beans. The tacos and guacamole. Staff was nice and quick with food. The fresh tortillas were the stand out and made the tacos pop. The orange salsa is a must! Will return for more”

“I visited the Taste of Original many times after they opened for business less than a year ago. The food is so good! As their name says, “Taste of Original”. Many of their dishes are from the traditional Chinese culture. They have those fishes available and have the original delicious tastes. The service we received tonight is excellent as it always is. I like their modern dining room design with the white tables. It gave me a very clean feeling. Once again! I enjoyed my dinner tonight!”

“The cashier doesn't speak much english however he does understand a lot. When you order he will use a long stick to point to the items on the menu to confirm he's understanding correctly. I thought that was cute since hes such a nice and older gentleman, possibly the owner. It's also really clean inside and has just the right amount of space. It is open seating, so you order at the register & sit where you'd like, very similar to a cafeteria. They have a self serving water station with ice water, cold water, & room temperature to choose from. A complimentary self serve condiments bar with garnishes like peanuts, chili oil, pickled bamboo, cilantro etc is located next to the counter where you pick up your dish from and there's a bathroom if you need to use it. The dishes were affordable and the atmosphere was so enjoyable. I never seen this place before, & it's definitely like a mom and pops hole in the wall resturant you shouldn't miss. I ordered the shaved ice dessert, super big and affordable and sweet as well, and I can't wait to go again and buy food next time. They were hospitable and sweet, all of them! The other dish pictured is my cousins, no idea what it is.”

“Dined in later In the evening. Cute place, kind service, now the food. The spring rolls: were so fresh, flavorful and delicious! Pho dac biet: is so so good, good noodle consistency, great portions of meat, the broth was so so good! Wings: were nice and crispy. I felt like they got a great fry on them. 10/10! “I love steak burritos so I decided to stop by this location today for the first time. Attractive building that sits on the corner with a decent size parking lot. Beautiful building with spacious seating. The staff was attentive and welcoming. The environment was friendly as I was eating I witness a regular come by & I was pleased to hear the whole staff great a regular by name and even ask about family members as if they were friends on the playground yard. Amazing atmosphere food was great service was amazing. I definitely will be back. Just wanted to let someone know that good service is appreciated.”

“The noodle soups are AMAZING! The staff are polite and courteous. If I can give more than 5 stars for the service they provide, I would. They ran out of baguette when I ordered it, but one of the staff went out of his way to buy some just so I could have it with my fried eggs. That is what I call a SUPERB customer service.”

“Quite crowded on Saturday lunch, Self-service style (order and pay upfront then pick up your own food at the counter). I didn't like to have to self-serve hot soup or hot sizzling iron pan food in a crowded place where the bus person was just pushing the cart around you. They should have at least bring the food out to customers table for dine-in. This time, the service wasn't worth 10% tip. Good food, most dishes tend to have a sweet taste but delicious as well. Recommend the sizzling plate ribeye steak.”

“Not bad for a boba place. It's not like your typical quickly or other boba spots. This place actually serves Lao dishes and desserts. We drove all the way to Cocomilk Cafe from Hayward after seeing people post their food and restaurant on TikTok. The service is excellent. The staff are so helpful and attentive. We ordered the Lao Sausages, Khao Piak, Nam Khao, Grilled Beef, Heavenly Beef, Pork Tapioca and Mochi Layers. Everything was very delicious.”

“We had a wonderful experience eating here. It had been years since I’ve had arepas and was really excited to find a Colombian restaurant not far from Elk Grove. The empanadas were delicious. The arepas were tasty and very filling. They gave us some plantain chips to start and a free rice dessert at the end. My wife loved the jumbo passion fruit drink. The waitress was very kind. We will return soon))”
