Folks in places like Muscoy have undoubtedly done this at their own homes for special occasions, but thanks to El Lagunero now anyone in nearby places can come on weekends. These types of celebrations are much more common in Texas, which is basically an extension of Coahuila and Nuevo León. The cabrito and machito you see roasting are the only things on the menu, just in different forms. You can of course have tacos of either, large flautas, enormous tortas, or big bowls of cabrito en consomé. No matter what you choose, portions are more than generous so bring as many friends as you can and try everything.”

“This place recently opened up and with positive reviews decided to give it a try. It was well worth it. Tried combo no.5 to try a little bit of everything and it was delicious. Service was friendly and food came out fresh and in a reasonable amount of time. Saw they have a Tuesday taco special at 1 dollar. They are small tacos but with inflation nowadays get it while the price last. She did mention they ran out the previous Tuesday by 6pm ( only 3pm to 7pm).”
