“I frequently visit dunkin donuts across the street, but was unable to get over due to some construction this morning. I am sort of glad though. This little family owned shop was great, the donuts were awesome, probably the best maple old fashioned I have had in a long time. I am sort of a donut fiend. Coffee was normal, not piping hot, so I could actually drink it. The place was small, but clean and comfortable and had that mom and pop feel to it. I will be visiting this place on my morning walks from now on. UPDATE, had a sandwich today, tuna croissant, #13, it was amazing. I know this may sound exaggerated, but it had a great soft but crispy croissant, veggies and tuna. Coffee good as usually. And I want to add that the donut this time was exactly the same, thick, but not too sweet icing and very well made.”

“Ciao Napoli! True story….I went to a meeting and had to urgently find a gas station. Not big deal. When I was leaving I stumbled to a sign calling me: ITALIAN BAKERY. That was a call. An Italian bakery in San Diego!!! I had to check. It literally my day. So much so, I came back next day and I can guarantee you, I will always come back. The entire family was there. A family owned business of authentic delicious Italian pastries. Was even emotional because they make a pastrie called sfogliatella that was my grandma’s favorite. Oh and the brasiliano coffee was amazing with my fig and prosciutto ciabatta. Bravo. Oh and gelato”

“I went there to try the Mochinut Donut first. Cute place, small inside. It would be nice to have some outdoor seating available. The donut itself was good. Got the 3 pack for $10. “Friendly staff, nice indoor/outdoor seating, food was just ok. It says something when the bowl of fruit was more exciting than the entrees. Stopped by on a Saturday around 11am and this place was slammed — line going out the door kind of busy. (TIP: Figure out what you want to order and then send someone from your group to go snag a table while waiting in line.) The Broccoli & White Cheddar Quiche had a strange crust — chewy rather than flaky. It needed a hit of salt and pepper to give it some flavor. Would not order again. The Grilled Chorizo Breakfast Burrito reads beautifully on the menu but eating it was a different experience. For about 3/4 of the burrito everything had the same soft, almost minced texture until you come across some nice chunky potatoes. Sliced grilled chorizo sausage might solve the texture issue. It was filling but could also use some seasoning to give it more layers of flavor - fresh chopped parsley or cilantro would help. At $17.50 it did not hold up. With how popular they were and the high ratings we may have just picked the wrong items on the menu? Next time we will try some of their other options.”

“Took them more than 5 minutes to even acknowledge us at the window after ordering our food. We could see them through the window, mopping and chatting but no one bothered to come and greet us. They didn't come say anything to us until our food was ready. There was no other customers in the restaurant and we were the only ones on the drive-thru. So rude! The tuna sandwich I order was mediocre. My husband's panini was good, but not $13 good. Pretty expensive for just one sandwich. I would recommend going somewhere else.”

“This is one of my favorite places to stop by for a nice breakfast bagel. I always get the Monterey Bagel with extra bacon and Thai ice tea not blended. Monterey Bagel comes with avocado, bacon, eggs with mushroom and alfalfa sprouts. So YUMMY! They have all sorts of bagels cinnamon, blueberry, sesame seed, cheese, Strawberry and much much more! Staff is very friendly and remembers their regular favorite orders! Their bagel hot dog seems pretty popular too even though I've never had it, I hear a lot of people ordering it. They also have great drinks, smoothies, coffee and Boba drinks too! They also just remodeled their facility and there's outdoor seating too. Enjoy!!”
