“I’m new to the neighborhood, Oakley CA, and grew up with Luckys. I looked up salad bars and Luckys popped up. Off I go and to my disappointment there was no salad bar, only pre made. Walmart has banging Southwestern Salads, so I grabbed Luckys Southwestern salad. YUCK! No flavor, soggy lettuce, watery dressing, nothing spicy, just nothing southwest about it, and the price $6.99. Ya, $7 for an 11. 4 oz salad 🥗 More than the price of a whole chicken. So sad to say I won’t be shopping there anymore. Too expensive and no salad bar. Need to update their website.”

“Definitely recommend ordering from bens, so far my favorites are the wagyu Beef hearty bowl and the chicken hearty bowl. I usually end up ordering late night and the quality has never failed. I also like the attention to detail they take for the bowls. Apart from being delicious and healthy, the bowls always look nice, which I definitely appreciate. You can tell whoever is cooking up the bowls definitely has a passion for it. Now for the actual food they meat is always juicy and full of flavor. I like how they cut up the vegetables so it’s easier to disgust and the option to add avocado. The pickled onions are a must have on the bowls! As for sauces I recommend the Smokey chipotle & the bens hot sauce. Keep up the good work 🙌🏽 And give my thanks to whoever cooks up the bowls at night, they never disappoint!”

“Wow what a surprise. Most Lucky's are kind of lower end stores. Not this one. Selection is fantastic and they have an impressive selection of food ready to eat for lunch. They have a special beer section that is a whole walk in refrigerated area with craft beers. A huge wine area, not the usual supermarket stuff. They even have delicacies like Panettone that is a beloved northern Italian Christmas cake. You can have your new your strip or prime rib dry aged to your specification (I believe 28 to 60 days) for a price that, after all, is very competitive. I was really impressed and any time I'm in Pleasanton I'll make sure to visit this place. The only problem is that... All of the above higher end experience is somewhat ruined by the ugly looking cracked concrete floors. Surely there must be a process during polishing where they can fix them instead of showing all the cracks? Incredible.”

Well, the lady told me that they had just dropped a batch and that they would be ready when I got there. Dad was happy, Mom was happy; so I am happy! Before I left, I saw "Smitten" varietal apples. I had never tried them. The Produce guy went and cut up on for me to try! Wow, great Customer service. They were yummy and I bought some. The store is clean, the people are nice, the shelves are lined up and the produce is fresh. (Oh, and the Meat & Fish Dept is great too. No fishy smell). I recommend shopping here.”
