“Had a traditional plated Thanksgiving lunch here today @ $31 per plate. Turkey was so incredibly DRY as to be almost inedible. Sides were excellent, mashed potatoes, cornbread stuffing, cranberry sauce, cream spinach and thin gravy. Pecan pie was too sweet and pumpkin pie had an odd taste.....more like squash pie. Bill for 5 adults, 1 toddler and 1 take out dinner was $231......$276 with tip. A doggie bag should have been included for that price. Overall pretty good but not great. It's been 10+ years since I've been here and plan to wait 10+ years to return. Best feature of the restaurant is the view.”

“Service was better than average. The wine selection was also good. The menu had a variety of options, although the restaurant was out of the ravioli and it was a Friday night at 6:30. Had the seafood stew, which was well made, although the portion size was small. For example, there was only one prawn, where other restaurants would have 3 to 4. The bread was either very toasted or just right. Bread seems like something an Italian restaurant would know how to serve. Cost versus portion is a negative experience. Perhaps the owners and chef will figure out the right receipt for the Golden area and Italian cuisine. May need to try this place again after they have figured out the right mix for this area.”

Shelby is an excellent bartender, always busy but keeps her composure while providing exceptional service. “Great restaurant on the main drag in Golden. I had the smoked salmon salad. It was potentially the best salad I've ever eaten in my life. The salmon was smoked a perfection and the variety of vegetables is fantastic. The dressing tied at all together perfectly. Our lovely server, Lauren, was most excellent.”

“We ended up doing a last minute party here and it was more than I could have asked for! Working with management and the wait staff was an absolute dream. They went above and beyond to accommodate us and make sure everyone in our party had a fantastic time. The food was phenomenal. Beyond our expectations! And the setting and scenery were perfect. “One of my favorite spots in Golden! Great beer selection, delicious food, and amazing service. The bartenders are so friendly and make you feel like a regular every time you come in. I hosted an event for 25 people at Miner's last week and it went smoothly and was a wonderful experience! Aimee helped me with my reservation and was quick to respond to phone and email, was easy to work with and very communicative. The food was out in a timely manner, the servers were attentive and friendly, and the staff really pulled together when the weekend crowd came in. I have never had such a great experience with a restaurant! It was just SO EASY! I already loved this restaurant before but now they will always be my go to!”

“Really good Neapolitan-style pizza with creative topping combos (or classics), and a wonderful chewy, slightly charred crust. One pizza was enough to split for a light lunch, you might want a whole one for dinner, which would fill you all the way up for $10-18. I also very much appreciate that they stock Beyond Sausage as a topping, and had no problem (or extra charge) to sub it for the meat on the daily special.”

“Great place tucked inside the hotel. We tried the burger and the prime rib melt. The service was fantastic until it was time to pay. Had to wait a while to get the check and then again to pay. The burger looked amazing but was just too dry. The prime rib melt was on point. The truffle parmesan fries are some of the best I've tried to date. Not overpowering at all. 4 stars due to the flavor of the burger the post dinner wait.”

“Went on a Friday evening around 6:30. Wait for table was 45 minutes & consistent with other reviewers experiences. Service was great. Servers were very attentive considering every table was filled. They have proper staffing. Had the all you can eat pizza buffet & it was great. Each time I went up for more slices, they had a different variety and the pizzas were hot, unlike other buffets that I've had. Great idea to have the buffet on your first visit so you can sample all the different pies. They give you a bottle of honey for your table to put on the crust after you've finished your slices. It was really good. I've never heard of doing that at any other pizza place before but I thought it was really good! I definitely recommend this pizza place to anyone who comes to town & will definitely eat there again next time I'm in town.”

“Nice rooms, extremely friendly staff, clean, and great location! They offered a dog-friendly room for my husband and I (and our dog Finnegan) and had a handicapped room for my mother in law. Both rooms were clean, comfortable, and charming (but not too cute or kitschy). Super convenient parking (connected to the hotel). Great location. It was wonderful being able to walk out the front door and be in downtown Golden. I highly recommend this place and will absolutely be staying here again.”
