Madame Ushi Aspen

Address: 415 E Hyman Ave, Aspen, CO 81611, USA

Restaurant

“Regrettably, my recent visit to Madame Ushi left me with a sense of unease, despite their evident efforts. While the staff tried hard to make us feel welcome, there was an underlying feeling of discomfort throughout our meal. The astronomical prices on the menu left us scratching our heads, as there seemed to be no logical explanation for such exorbitant pricing. Unfortunately, the food failed to justify these sky-high costs. Expecting culinary excellence to match the price tag, we were sorely disappointed by the subpar quality of the dishes. Each bite left much to be desired, further adding to our disappointment. In the end, while the restaurant's efforts were commendable, the overall experience fell short of expectations. For those seeking a satisfying dining experience in Aspen, I would recommend exploring other options that offer better value for money. P. S.: Nevertheless, for those seeking a visually stunning dining setting that transports them to the streets of Japan, Madame Ushi may still hold appeal.”

The Red Onion

Address: 420 E Cooper Ave, Aspen, CO 81611, USA

Restaurant

“This bustling restaurant drew me for 2 reasons. A) the history that it was the original restaurant in its same location since the village grew around it and B) because there is/was a great restaurant in Vancouver that was modeled after this one and I worked there for yrs during Uni! A great history lesson, and bits of Americana nestled into the main street of Aspen. I would definitely recommend people check this place out. Stay for a drink or feed the entire crew, not if you're on shoestring budget tho!”

The Whole Empanada

Address: 401 E Hyman Ave, Aspen, CO 81611, USA

Restaurant

“I got the beef empanada and it was very tasty. Definitely not worth $7 (used to be $6.50) for the size (if anything should be $5 a piece). Easy to find, person in the booth didn't seem to care to be there which I get, it's work but something more than a stone face would be nice.”

Clark's Market Aspen

Address: 300 Puppy Smith St #204, Aspen, CO 81611, USA

Meal takeaway Bakery Restaurant

“Very impressed with Clark's Markets upscale additions and tons of new items. The store looks great and is the best in the past 10 years I have been shopping there. I was assisted by Jim and he told me of the over 2000 new items. I am so excited to try so many new offerings! The Clark's team has worked so hard and as a community member I am pleased to have such a wonderful store in town, and appreciate all the efforts that went into the new design. Thank you so much and looking forward to my next visit! Great job!!! -Jen”

Phatt Pho n' Sushi

Address: 300 Puppy Smith St ste 201, Aspen, CO 81611, USA

Restaurant

“4.5 stars. Conscientious location in the shopping center. Nice portions for a fair price good value. Clearly labeled and lots of vegan / plant based options are a plus. Hearty Pho with nice flavorful broth. Nice portion and quite filling. The vegan summer rolls with lemongrass tofu and peanut sauce was delicious. Food came fast. Friendly service. Would be a good spot for takeout too. Nice outdoor dining.”

Taco pina

Address: 300 Puppy Smith St suite 211, Aspen, CO 81611, USA

Restaurant

“This is probably my favorite Mexican spot in Aspen! They favor locals and you can get such yummy food, in big portions at good prices! The restaurant has good outdoor seating in the shade, and games on the patio. I can’t wait to see how much they grow, and am excited they are open when everything else is closed in off season.”

Sway Aspen

Address: 308 E Hopkins Ave, Aspen, CO 81611, USA

Restaurant

“Fun restaurant, tasty food, lots of thought put into interior design. Refreshing to have something different that’s not steak, fish, or Italian. Maybe the most vegan plant based options in aspen for a sit down restaurant (other good options for vegans are spring cafe and big wrap). Extensive menu. Friendly service. I really liked the salt and pepper tofu and the green papaya salad. All the dishes are inspired by Thai food but modern takes and/or not classic versions of dishes (for example the dessert of mango sticky rice was almost like a molecular inspired version of the components rather than anything resembling what one might expect). Tasty food all around. Would recommend for something more upscale but not fancy ambience and delicious food.”

The Boat Tow

Address: 315 E Hyman Ave, Aspen, CO 81611, USA

Restaurant

“Nestled in the heart of Aspen, The Boat Tow exceeded all expectations, leaving me utterly smitten by its exceptional service and inviting ambiance. From the moment we stepped in, the staff's attentiveness made us feel like honored guests. The variety of dishes on the menu is truly impressive. We indulged in their heavenly deviled eggs, tantalizing tacos, and savored every bite of their delectable strawberry dessert. Each dish was a culinary masterpiece, bursting with flavor and creativity. Oh, and their tuna poke? It was a flavor explosion, perfectly balanced and utterly delicious. What truly stood out was the bartender's expert recommendations, which elevated our dining experience. The Boat Tow's atmosphere is both welcoming and chill, creating the perfect setting for a memorable dining experience. Without hesitation, I would recommend this restaurant to anyone seeking exceptional food and service in Aspen.”

Unravel Coffee + Bar

“It was nice to find a nice coffee shop while I was visiting on business. I went to several in Aspen, but this was my favorite. It was obvious from all the local attention others think so as well. Food was good. Coffee was tasty. Service was smooth.”

The Crepe Shack Aspen

Address: 401 E Cooper Ave #102, Aspen, CO 81611, USA

“Great service, and my Bison Burger Crepe was delicious & filling! I had to come back for more later on, and had a Black Passion Crepe so yummy. I loved my coffee as well! Very affordable for Aspen compare to some other mediocre restaurants in the core! Don’t get me started to list them.”

“Delicious food, wine and cocktails. The mole chicken, chimichurri, short ribs and tacos spot on. Tasty margaritas. Friendly service. Snowmass is accessible, without the hassle, pretentious and crowds of Aspen (great mountain too but Snowmass is vast and not crowded. Ice rink across the restaurant if want to drop off the kids.”

Kenichi Snowmass

Address: 110 Carriage Way Apt 3101, Snowmass Village, CO 81615, USA

Restaurant

“The food is really good, ambiance is nice and it is in a great spot in Snowmass village. However it is way overpriced (even considering Aspen/Snowmass pricing). I paid over 400$ for a family of four ! (2 alcoholic drinks, 2 sodas, 3-4 appetizers, sushi and 2 tiny desserts). The Mega Salmon roll was the best. Service was ok.”

Sam's

“TOO good to be true. Awesome 4star lunch specials for no star price. Standard menu looked very reasonable too. First timer at Aspen 4 mountains. Casual fine dining and real chef cuisine. Very comfortable seating waiting area with cozy seats and fireplace. Coat and helmet storage area!! Unbelievable.”

Sam's

Address: 106 Daly Ln, Snowmass Village, CO 81615, USA

Restaurant

“So of course the ambiance was beyond remarkable, and it is SUCH a luxurious experience to swap ski boots for slippers! But...the food was mostly very good, not astounding. The astounding food items were the pasta pomodoro main, and the pate app. The drinks were all perfect! But...the service was just bad. We waited almost two hours for our entries, and the server pushed us to order 3x what our party could eat, and we can eat a lot. There was an incredible amount of waste left on the table when we left. TLDR: a wonderful experience, good food, great drinks, bad service!”

Ullrhof

Address: 40 Carriage Way, Snowmass Village, CO 81615, USA

Restaurant

“Great stopping place for food /drink. The sunny deck is our favorite spot. They also have a big tent set up still for more places to sit and indoors dining rooms too.. You go in get your food then bring it to where you want to eat. Of course it's costs alot. But look where you are! I always buy something because I am so thank ful that they brought everything up the mountain. We love all the restaurants on Snowmass Mountain. The one at the very top is called * Up for pizza. My grand daughter Hazel called it the Warm Cookie Hut. Because they warmup your big cookie for you. YUM Have fun in Aspen.”

“This is the best place to eat in Aspen. The wait staff was considerate, the atmosphere was perfect and the German food was some of the best I've had. I got the red deer, schnitzel, brats, potato pancakes, mussels, and apple strudel. All good choices. Make sure you take the opportunity to get here on your visit to Aspen. You will not be disappointed!”

Last Chair

Il Poggio

“Can't go wrong here. Family owned restaurant, high quality food, great service, prices are very reasonable. Kids really enjoy it here as well.”

Zane's Tavern Snowmass

Address: 10 Village Square, Snowmass Village, CO 81615, USA

Restaurant

“So while I didn't expect Snowmass Village to have a place like this it was a nice surprise. I could only describe it as dive bar adjacent. But not in a negative way but in the way that it feels lived in. As to the other important stuff. The food is good, like really good. And is food that may be absent from the Aspen region, and which is to say reasonably priced. The service however shines. While packed during Stanley Cup playoffs, we still were attended to despite the waitress fielding a section that was the entire restaurant. Go there for sure”

Stark's Alpine Grill

Address: 100 Elbert Ln, Snowmass Village, CO 81615, USA

Restaurant

“Food, drinks and service were excellent. There’s a variety of options for different budgets- it can get pricey. Our service staff included Ari, Chris K and Brian. Well done all, thank you! The private dining room was an extra special bonus - thanks Rose and mngr.”

The Stew Pot

Address: 62 Elbert Ln, Snowmass Village, CO 81615, USA

Restaurant

“Don't be fooled by the lower prices! The Stew Pot is indeed the most affordable restaurant in Snowmass, but it also has some of the best food. The sandwiches are great and the stews are to die for. If you go, you have to have the Pork Habanero stew...it's incredible and a must have. My family has eaten here every year since we started our annual trek to Snowmass.”

Slow Groovin BBQ Snowmass
