“Holy wow!! Live in Denver, came up with my Dad to fish stagecoach and troubleshoot a plumbing issue for a friend. End of the day decide to go get food somewhere, this place is one of the few open and serving in the bustling metropolis of Oak Creek, CO. ;p I was looking for a beer and a passable burger or something, not gourmet amazingness. Hell I can’t usually afford gourmet amazingness! What I found was a friendly, comfortable place with an awesome staff, not-gourmet prices, my favorite beer, and easily one of the most delicious meals I’ve had in some time. Bravo, Circle R! I will now occasionally be down in Denver and think “okay it’s a three hour drive, but daayumm that place was awesome, let’s go. Keep killin’ it, y’all!!”

“Super cute vibe is literally coming out of the walls of this place. Definitely a quintessential mountain / hippie spot with absolutely delicious food. I dined with 3 friends, and all of us really enjoyed our meals. I had the impossible burrito which was the perfect portion for a lunch dish (not too much, but certainly not too little), and full terrific flavor. Service was prompt and friendly, and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a bite in Steamboat.”

“Otto Pint is amazing - I highly recommend it! We had not been to Otto since Chef Graham and Kat arrived about a year ago, and the changes they have made are fantastic - they've made Otto a place that we will come back to and recommend to friends! The service is excellent and friendly, and the food is incredible - it is interesting, sophisticated, and delicious. I am a super picky eater who eats no gluten or dairy, and am therefore used to eating food that is not very tasty because my dishes have to be altered. However, Chef Graham was up to the challenge - this was by far the most delicious meal I've had in a very long time - even my husband (who eats everything and was beyond impressed with his meal) tried what I ordered and liked it. A great place all around!”

“O'Neil's exceeded expectations. The reservation process was smooth, which is impressive given we were a party of twelve. The food and drinks were higher quality than you would expect from a Irish Pub. I would list all of the food and drinks our party ordered and enjoyed, but it's more efficient to say EVERYTHING was good. Our server, Travis, was excellent! He balanced the needs of 6 kids and 6 adults like a master. The owner/manager could be seen helping expedite kitchen orders coming out. This was really impressive. It was the holiday season. O'Neil's was super busy. And there was the boss, working his tail off alongside everyone else. This restaurant cares about putting out a good product, and it shows -- they deserve your business. Give them a shot whether you're a tourist or a local.”

“Everything was great (except maybe the way my head felt the next day). Wings are as good as I remember, service was great, whiskeys are excellent. They even did a nice job of ejecting a drunk bonehead without incident. People have mentioned the prices in a couple reviews...pretty standard for a decent place in a mountain town from what I found. If you like whiskey, go to the bar and put yourself in their hands. If you want a fun place with good food and drinks Carl's is a must visit when in Steamboat.”

It is across street from gas station. I had a bit of challenge finding it for that reason but well worth a few minutes of wandering around because the food is wonderful.”

“Great place! The seafood is excellent! It can be hard to read dress code at some places, but this one you could come in jeans and a polo or a suit and you'd fit in. Wait staff is prompt, food was fantastic. Some of the tables are a bit close together, so it can feel like your having dinner with strangers. I'm a social guy, so it didn't bother me, but it might bother others.”

Keep in mind: you do have to cook your own meat (adds to the awesomeness of the experience). I dine at 8th Street Steakhouse every year on birthdays and special occasions. “Mother's Day Sunday, 7:30 am. Not crowded (yet) but filled up fast. A rainy morning so seated inside. Tables are tiny, little room. Also very close together so not conducive to conversation. A family joint so two crying toddlers and rock music playing. Overhead fans chilly, cools food too quickly. Coffee decent. Portions generous but not outstandingly unique. My American omelet was strips of bacon (not diced) & a slice of American cheese folded inside of the omelet ..hard to cut chewy bacon. Not worth the asking price. WARNING green chili grits are (a) really spicy and (b) really soupy, not appealing. Hubby's chicken fried steak was good, diced potatoes good. Service attentive and prompt. This is a great place for lunch but not overpriced breakfast. Best enjoyed either later in the day or in June-July-Aug when mornings are warm & you can sit on the patio & enjoy the creek & flowers.”

“Food was good. Our group had an opportunity to try a variety. We had the pulled pork, ribs, and chopped brisket. Portions were also good. The corn bread was dry and needed something (honey?). It was a little odd ordering as the place was mostly empty. We were given a beeper and told to come back to order when the beeper went off which should have been in roughly 10 minutes. I believe this was done to allow them to catch up on orders. 20 minutes later we were called back up to order our food. The food then came surprisingly fast.”

“Highly recommended. Great food with an authentic taste. We had Gyro and Cowboy pulled pork with excellent portions. The fries had been topped with special seasoning and tasted out of this world. Our server had great customer service and acknowledged us when we walked in. Glad we found it. Skull Creek Greek values customers by offering a rewards program. This is a plus and we will come back.”
