“Wonderful staff! We made reservations for 11 for a birthday party on a Friday night and they accommodated us perfectly. We had a range of ages from 18 mos to adults and everyone loved it. It was nice that they gave both rice and noodles with hibachi instead of having to choose one. Great live cooking experience, the chef was lively and funny. We'll be back for sure.”

“I had a co worker from Vernon who said that the grinders were worth the drive. This Saturday made the trip and got probably one of the best roast beef grinders I have ever had hands down. “Rein's Deli is a hopping place during the daytime and evenings. The place is favorite among the locals and it is always crowded. At usual meal times there is a line waiting for tables, but it turns around pretty quickly. The menu is typical deli fair and some original items as well. The food is excellent, no matter what you order, and there is usually plenty of it. The waitresses are very friendly and they know the menu well. There is also a gluten free menu available, but you will have to ask for it. Breakfast menu includes eggs in many ways, bagels and smoked fish; lunch/dinner menu has salads, lots of different types of sandwiches and platters. They also have a good choice of desserts. Another feature of the deli is that they have a counter where you can buy ready-made items such as frozen items, baked goods, and sweets. I have bought ready-made or pick up a few times because they are so busy always. It's definitely a place to go and have a meal if you are in town, or pass by on I-84.”

“This was going to be a one star review but they did the right thing in the end. I ordered the top sirloin done medium. The meal arrived with a delicious looking steak -- about 2 inches thick. When I cut into it, I found it nicely done for about a quarter inch on the outside and pretty much raw inside that. It took a few minutes to track down our waiter. When he turned up, he took the plate back to the kitchen. He returned with my food in a few minutes. This time he waited until I cut into the re-cooked meat. The meat was now medium rare -- an improvement, but still not what I asked for. Nonetheless, it was edible so I ate it even though it was much dried out from having been cut in half. What started out to be a very enjoyable meal turned into a big disappointment. Had it been as good as it originally looked this would have been a 4 star review. What changed this from a 1 star review to 3 stars was they comped me my meal which I think was fair.”

“This Asian Buffett in Vernon, CT has a decent spread and some limited sushi roll options. They also have a grill station but the past few visits there was never a dedicated person making that station. The overall quality of the food is average but for the cost of an entree at other sit down restaurants, you have access to a buffet. Some items are better than others but overall I'd say it's a decent value. They try to keep things clean and tidy so that's always a plus.”

I went during the lunch rush on 03/23/2019 and even though there was a line (which moved quick!) they pay attention to everyone and every food item they prepare all the while keeping the tables clean, sauces topped off and thanking you on the way out! Great staff here, 5 stars!”

“They have updated the place recently. Gone are the booths as the fireplace. They have simplified things with tables and chairs. They have two long tables with bar seats (which are movable). The place seemed pretty clean. Patrons were quite (mostly adults). Granted I am still not a fan of the kiosks. (Germs! Ewe!) Prefer to go to the registers instead. Service was quick. Meal as expected. Was not served on a tray but as if we were dining out.”
