“I enjoyed an omlette here for breakfast over the weekend. It was flavorful, fresh, and had the mushrooms I'd asked for, but weren't normally in the dish (+1 service). It came with well picked greens and bread. Their latte had a mild / average bitter taste, not bad, but nothing special either. The atmosphere is cheery and open. The big table is a pleasant conversational catalyst. I am glad I was not in a hurry because even though my food and coffee came quickly, I waited about 15 minutes to be able to ask for the check.”

“The hot chocolate was awesome. Tastes like they use quality chocolate ???????? I had the bessame as well, sugar and butter all baked up never tasted sooooooooocoo good!! Was a bit crowded on a Sunday afternoon with the Chinese New Year crowd. Have to come back for their other baked offerings!!”

“Now this is a good place to as long as it's not down there by the Navy Yard if it's the one across from the CVS at the Navy Yard that place they really need some etiquette in there they don't treat their customers fair and even and they act strange toward black folks”

“Excellent cocktails and a fantastic whiskey list. I cannot overstate how good the cocktails are. Novel, complex, and nowhere near sweet (unless that's what you want.) Great bartenders, too. The space is a bit cramped, but don't let that turn you off, there's outdoor seating when the weather cooperates.”

“First time coming to this one but I had gone to the sister bakery and cafe in Georgetown so I had some high expectations. They definitely surpassed them. I had a bomb BLT which I hadn't had in a really longtime and enjoyed a black ginger tea. Over all pretty good customer service and enjoyed the ambiance. I will say that the background music is a little loud good music but maybe a little too loud for me. I will try this place let again though.”

“Very fast service. Very convenient. This place is on the ball. They have morning Rush, afternoon rush, and dinner rush.... Busy all the time, but they still managed to serve their customers quickly with fresh food all the time.”

“Pleasant and nice and a welcome departure from the city with great French food. Sit down with service or self serve with stools. All good but of particular interest might be their Chocolate Mousse (caffeine alert).”

“A pleasant surprise! Great prices, you won't blow your budget there. The meatball panini was delicious. You get your order fast. Went there around 12:30 pm on Tuesday.”

“Our service was very slow. Instead of providing counter service and waiting on us immediately, we were told to sit down to order, which then took almost 20 minutes to fullfil a smoothie and coffee order. Not sure that is the best way to do business, otherwise wise it was a cool place. Just very slow service.”

“The sandwiches are scrumptious! I used to work a block away and would come here often. After a long day of interviews, I was starving! I'm glad I made the 3 block trek in the frigid winter wearing only a suite jacket to Au Bon. I customized my sandwich loaded with veggies, mozzarella cheese, and pesto aioli on a semolina bread. The sandwich was packed with fresh veggies - carrots, roasted red pepper, cucumber, pickled onions. The sandwich was divine. Best part of the sandwich? I was charged less than $5 for a cheese sandwich with unlimited veggies and toppings. The guy hooked me up! If I'm in the area and craving a sub, Au Bon Pain is my go to spot!”

“Astro has delicious donuts and fried chicken sandwiches! I’m a huge donut fan, but I think I liked the fried chicken even more. It came on the perfect biscuit and was great quality overall. The cherry blossom donut makes for a great Instagram moment during cherry blossom season in D.C.! Only complaint is how small the joint is. It can be very crammed on nice days with the line extending outside. It doesn’t take too long, but it’s very crammed. I recommend taking it to a nearby park to chow down, but there is outdoor seating. Completely worth it!”

“We visited this place for breakfast around 10am and their croissants were delicious (I had a ham/cheese one and also a chocolate croissant), however, they didn't have enough food for our party of 8; it was strange that a breakfast place/coffee shop would run out of croissants before noon. When we asked about it, the lady said that's all they had for the day and they were not planning on making more. I think they should be able to replenish their trays throughout their hours of operation. Staff was friendly but we left hungry.”

“Got our order to go. Thank you so much! Pleasant employees and helpful at kiosks. Was pleasantly surprised by portions and precise order in spite of being extremely busy during lunch hours. We ate our lunch within walking distance in view of eclipse and had amazing meal. Thank you again.”

“Always a great bagel and sandwich. Beloved by locals, and open very early. If you need a breakfast sandwich on the move in Dupont, or driving along Connecticut before dawn, look no further”

“Their pizza is good but their individual slice options were very picked over when I went. They also didn't seem to give much priority to making more. This was in the middle of the afternoon, so it wasn't like they were about to close. If you want to order a full pizza you'll be fine, but if you want individual slices, it might be worth calling ahead to see what they actually have so you aren't disapointed when you get there. The seating area is on the small size but is well utilized. If they aren't busy, you can fit a decent size group but when they are busy it can get tight.”

“This is our second time here at the location in DC. We absolutely love it! The first time we were here we found it randomly by accident. The only employee we saw was Sean. He was amazing then. Came back Sean was here again and was amazing again. He made all our food and drinks. He is very personable and hard working. We were excited to get breakfast, see if he remembered us and tell him we were engaged. He made a great impression on us and we have convinced everyone we know in the DC area to come here.”

“In my hometown, Bruegger's Bagels is a favorite of mine and I always get the smoked salmon, capers, and cream cheese on a plain bagel so I was excited when I found out GW Deli has a bagel similar to this. It was good and satisfying. The man who I ordered with was very sweet and funny. I took one star away, however, just because of the price. It was pricey and I don't completely think the bagel was worth the amount I paid for. Still good and I would definitely go again.”
