“I actually enjoyed this Crab Cake "Sammich" very much. It was 100% Crab meat. No bread fillers etc. I had the Nashville Catfish Sandwich as well. Excellent ! And when I received my "Sammiches" exactly how the photo looked. It was very neat and I can tell the person didn't just throw the "Sammich" together. I am a new customer now. Thank you for the Delicious "Sammiches"”

“My friend and I happened to pass by this restaurant and decided to give it a go. We weren’t disappointed. Lots of flavor and pretty decent service. The bowls are very filling! I will definitely return. (Pictured: beef and lamb bowl and falafel bowl) Vegan and vegetarian friendly.”

“The perfect coffee shop. Great “house” lattes that you can order off the menu, tons of open space that make the cafe feel airy and large. Music player at an appropriate level and there is a good amount of seating (though it did fill up in the morning quickly). The food was yummy - only suggestion I offer (and my missing star) is that the granola dish needs more yogurt. There was maybe a 2-1 granola to yogurt ratio that made this a pretty dry dish.”

“I begin with a candid confession. I did not intend to eat here today, but since the closing of my planned restaurant thwarted my original desires, I decided to walk around to see what else looked decent. That’s when I came across Coastline Oyster Co. And, I’m glad that I did. Turns out that today was their opening day and I was something like the fifth customer. Everything was perfect. Service was super attentive and the food (paired with wine) was delicious. The oysters were not only sweet, clean, and phenomenal, but came with three different sauces that are too unique but savory to describe. The cioppino was also out of this world. It had deep flavor that paired well with both its seafood and wine. Give it a try, especially if you are looking at our region’s distinct Chesapeake Bay and Mid-Atlantic recipes and culinary joys. Reminds me of a quaint seafood restaurant I go to when visiting St. Simons Island, Georgia and want good low country cooking. But this one is ours.”

“First thing to note - this is a small restaurant, so timing is key or you may be left waiting as the all-you-can-eat dim sum has a time limit of 2hrs. The service is fairly quick and the majority of dishes were good. The staff was friendly, but very busy, we didn't always get the dishes we ordered. Highlights on the menu was definitely the peking duck, and ordering that a few times definitely helped the price feel worth it (it was also very good). We enjoyed most of the options and consumed a ton of food. However, the sheer volume and speed of delivery to the table meant that the food was, more often than not, of lower quality than you may find elsewhere. To be honest I can't say I'm surprised or even disappointed by that - it's all you can eat after all. Overall, it was an enjoyable experience, the restaurant is well located, clean, and the ambiance was nice. However, it's unlikely I would come again soon, by which I mean I'd much rather try somewhere new than return just yet. Don't let that stop you from checking it out if you're in the area though - go in with the right expectation and you'll enjoy it.”

“I wish I could've tasted the food but ALL the guests we're pretty impressed! I ordered a pretty nice package for my daughter's Quinceañera (15th Birthday) celebration. Everything was as described and the guests we're ABSOLUTELY delighted! Jennifer, was expeditious and offered GREAT communication, as I was coming in from ATL.”

“Surprise! Amazing Alchemist ☕, nitro hibiscus tea & others. Bullfrog bagels remind why bagels are a thing 🥯. Ice cream sandwiches. Friendly service. Quality evening 🍷 & 🥂. Movies each Sunday. What a 💎. Place will be bustling in no time. Just needs better air conditioning 🥵 and parking to attract more people!”

“This place has a wonderful ambiance, our server Katie was so polite and attentive, we had a couple “okay” cocktails, and overall we were seated per our reservation. The decorations are mediocre. Location is good. Was a nice time but nothing groundbreaking.”

“Food tastes great, and at a very reasonable price. I enjoyed the sub sandwich and grilled shrimp. The shrimp had a lot of flavor. Also make sure to try the desserts they sell there at the counter! The banana & wafer cup was delicious (the cakes look good too!!)”

“This is a stellar restaurant. The food is amazing, intricate and unique. Chef Kwame and his staff are wonderful hosts. I loved the service. The atmosphere was very welcoming. Finally, somewhere a young, black man and his date can enjoy fine dining and not feel out of place. You should definitely make it a point to go here.”

“This place is sooooooo beautiful inside. It felt like a wonderland. I arrived at 10pm after a night of walking in search of a good party in the U street area. Needless to say that I was hungry. The service was amazing. The waitress took her time to explain the menu and provide suggestions based on what foods I liked. I had ordered chicken tacos. When the food arrived I was ready to dive in. The taco meat was so tender. I don't recall ever having chicken so tender. I was in heaven until the spiciness kicked in. 😩 I'm not the one to order spicy food and if I would have known it was going to be that spicy.....I would have ordered something else. I had also gotten guacamole and black beans with the taco. Everything was spicy! If you love spicy food then this is the place for you. With a cup of water by my side, I enjoyed my food.”

“Walking distance to the heart if Georgetown so very convenient if you want to grab a drink or food and relax a bit. I personally liked the French Onion soup a lot because I can taste the sweet onion flavor and the cheese crusted is so crispy! Both of our main courses were delicious. Oh! Be sure to ask for the bread, baked fresh...goes so well with the Boeuf Bourguignon sauce! For dessert, we got the chocolate lava cake, some of the crust on the sides are a bit overcooked so a bit harden. However, I do like that it is not too sweet. Other restaurants usually make it very sweet. We definitely want to come back next time to try the brick oven baked pizza!”
