“Oh my! Where did I begin my rave review?! My generous portion of salmon was absolutely delectable, perfectly light and flaky, and served with this sublime sauce, I think it was a kind of hollandaise. My asparagus was cooked to perfection as well, tender yet crisp and flavorful. Roasted potatoes were great too. Dessert, a chocolatey layered mousse-type pie with crunchy-crumbly chocolatey crust was served with a couple of fresh blueberries in to-go box, and I thoroughly enjoyed every morsel later at home. The staff were helpful, kind, and friendly. Keep in mind I have no idea about pricing as I was attending a seminar with dinner included and prices were not noted on our menus.”

“We were served about an hour before closing time. The deep dish pizza with pepperoni was tasty accompanied with wings from a boneless chicken. I dont know how it walked to be honest with you. Once ready to go, I went on a recon mission to retrieve my check, then pay it. I never saw my waitress again after our food was served. I never got a "how's everything?", "I will leave this check right here with you, there's no hurry", nothing. Such is life. It was noticed that the girls were making final preparations to flee the restaurant after "tipping out". It was ten minutes to nine...closing time. My tip may still be on the table for all I know.”

“They made the cupcakes for my baby shower and they were amazing. Personally I hate icing on all desserts and they were wonderful at executing my special request for minimal icing. Everyone at my shower loved them and the leftovers were gone by the next day. I actually enjoyed the icing as it wasn’t too dense or sweet. I think it was more on the whip cream side than a heavy butter cream. The cake itself was moist and a great texture overall. I would highly recommend them for events!”

“This wasn't my first time at this location, but it is the first time I've left a review. I finally tried one of their pile ups - the southern one with the country fried steak, and I was very pleased. The food was terrific, the price for the volume of food you received was extremely reasonable, and the server was so attentive to our needs that you would've assumed the restaurant was packed and she was trying to rush us out. Not the case, but she was that conscious of checking in and making sure we had what we needed. The only downside is that parking can be horrendous because there simply isn't enough considering how popular they are and the location is super tiny so this isn't a place you should go if you want your conversations to be private. In summary, this place just has good, old fashioned home cooking and strong customer service, but be prepared to fight for a parking spot, you may be standing and waiting for a seat during their rush times, and there's no space for privacy.”

“Really good sandwiches. My favorite is the meatball sub. It is loaded with cheese. The steak and cheese is also very good. The staff are friendly. I usually order over the phone and it is ready in 10 minutes for pickup. They also have a unique selection of chips from Philly. The sub rolls are brought in from Philly so they are the real deal.”

“We went for the opening and it was a great meal. The seafood was fresh and prepared perfectly. The wait staff were attentive and our meal came out quickly. We chose the special which was a mixed seafood with 1/2 lb. Of snow crab, 1/2 lb of shrimp, and a lobster tail. It was served as a personal boil with your choice of seasonings new potatoes and corn. We will put Captain Crab on our restaurant rotation.”
