“We stopped by at Whit's after an early evening walk at Neptune Beach and it was a good decision. Staff were friendly and helpful. We had the Rocky Road and the Banana split and they were delicious. The vanilla and chocolate flavor were very rich and distinct. It was a perfect end to a warm night at Neptune Beach.”

“A definite yummy treat! Don’t wait to give them a try. It was a great visit- service was friendly and helpful. Cafe was cozy and relaxing. We ate at the cafe- there was a small dining area inside with two tables to enjoy our treat. They provided us forks. There was a nice fresh selection to pick from. We had a small pie - Strawberry- Rhubarb a nice blend of fruits- yes another Northerner who has enjoyed years of this dessert. They did a great job. We also shared a Reese Peanut Butter small pie. The small pie is a perfect size to share. Anxious to come back and try some other flavors. Parking can be a little challenge if they are busy.”

“Bruster’s is my favorite ice cream franchise and I say that having tried a number of brands and stores around the country. Flavors are made fresh daily, so if you find one you like, don’t be surprised if you come back a few days later and it’s not there. There do seem to be some staples though, such as cake batter, one of my favorites. Prices are reasonable too which is saying something these days with rampant inflation driving up food prices. A small size is $4.72 at this location with tax; I have seen the same at other stores as high as $7. A small size serving is two scoops. You are allowed to get two flavors if you want also. I’ve been to other companies and they only allow one flavor so this is a plus. My one critique is that the ice cream is softer than some other places, I presume because the freezer isn’t as cool. This is only an issue in that it melts faster on a hot day whereas if it were colder and more solid it would keep its consistency a little longer. Hardly a deal breaker though. Just know if it’s very hot you may want to opt for a cup over a cone.”

“I recently had the pleasure of visiting Subville Grill, a five-star Philly cheese steak food truck located in Jacksonville, Florida. What a delightful find it was! Not only is the location incredibly convenient, right by the exit door of Home Depot, but the food itself is absolutely mouthwatering. The moment I stepped up to the truck, I was greeted with a friendly smile and prompt service. The staff at Subville Grill are passionate about their craft, and it truly shines through in every bite. The Philly cheese steak I ordered was a perfect blend of tender, thinly sliced beef, melted cheese, and flavorful sautéed onions and peppers. The bread was fresh and toasted to perfection, adding a delightful crunch to each bite. The portion size was generous, ensuring that I left feeling satisfied and content. What impressed me the most was the attention to detail and quality of ingredients used. Every component of the sandwich was clearly made with care and precision, resulting in a truly memorable culinary experience. I cannot recommend Subville Grill enough to anyone craving an authentic and delicious Philly cheese steak. Whether you're a local or just passing through Jacksonville, be sure to stop by this fantastic food truck. Trust me, you won't be disappointed.”

“I love playing FPS games like Counter-Strike, Halo 3, Battlefield, and others, for which I use the Redragon Fizz K617 Rainbow mini keyboard. The keyboard offers an excellent gaming experience without a mouse and is compatible with most versions of the Windows operating system.”

“Ordered and Caramel Frappe with Almond Milk. Cashier was extremely polite and pleasure to talk to. They warned me that the caramel had dairy in it before putting it my drink which I appreciated as it seemed they were very knowledgeable about their craft and cared about the customer experience. Had my drink in less than 3 minutes.”

“Visited Starvin Like Marvin and did not disappoint. I heard great things so I had to try for myself. I bought the snapper/shrimp combination. The snapper was huge (was my blessed and lucky day to get this size snapper). The seasonings were on point. Every carving on the snapper had seasonings which is a definite plus in my book. (Unseasoned fish in its entirety is no good) just my opinion. The shrimp were big and also seasoned and fried to perfection. The one flaw in my humble opinion is that the gills were still in the whole fried fish. Marvin, the entire head is good to eat except the gills. Maybe you can work on that? Besides that I enjoyed everything to the fullest and will definitely be back.”

“I went to this place after the Jaguars and Dolphins Preseason Game. Entry was free because the Lodge was empty. The DJ played good music, and Bartender was attentive. Wings and Fries were okay, but nothing to brag about. Drinks were okay ✅ for the time spend in the Lodge. I doubt I will return because I don’t like the location and side of town!”

“Service was great, answered all my questions, flavors are all unique. A superb addition to the BBQ scene. Brisket was fork tender and very moist. The bbq sauce was vinegar based if it matters. You definitely gotta try one of the loaded fries, It hit the spot. I will definitely come back”

“We had an absolutely wonderful experience! We just happened to visit on national ice cream day, so they offered us all a free scoop with our purchase! The staff was so friendly and attentive. We also got a free cookie after completing the survey on the receipt. While it was a little pricy, the food tasted amazing. I honestly couldn’t ask for a better time. I would definitely recommend Insomnia Cookies to anyone looking for a sweet treat!”

“Came by yesterday at the recommendation of a friend. They told me they had GF items there. But when I went, they said they were out. Bummer for me. So I just ordered a side of grits and scrambled eggs. My friend ordered a whole meal that they loved. It had eggs bacon avocado and home fries. They used a ginger hot sauce to eat it with. I didn't really like my eggs. They were flat and not fluffy and looked like there was pepper added to them? But the grits were great. And they don't come with butter either, which is good for me since I'm also dairy free. This location has indoor and outdoor seating. But remember, you are downtown, so you will see a variety of odd things by sitting outside. I sat inside which was comfortable. Wasn't too cold either. Menus are on the outside of the building. They have a separate breakfast and lunch menu also.”

“My husband and I were just walking by the place when it wasn't even open, and the owner was sweet enough to open up for us anyway. It was super cozy sitting on the couch and watching a movie. The food was delicious, and the tea was refreshing. Hubby and I will definitely be back often!”

“Cowford was the best fine dining experience I have ever had. I went on my birthday. Placed at my table was a birthday card which I thought was so kind & thoughtful. They have complimentary valet parking which is a plus in that neighborhood where parking is scarce. Our waiter was so knowledgeable on the champagne and food which was impressive. I felt like I was on a tour. They even bring hot towels to your table before you eat. Phenomenal!! The food amazing and I can tell the chef takes pride in his dishes. First time having a tomahawk steak and it was worth every penny.”

“The lady at the front was nice and explained everything as far as all the specials. There was nobody eating inside the restaurant but there were a lot of takeout people waiting but nothing too out the ordinary. The fish and shrimp were fried very good. Not too greasy. I also enjoyed the bake potato. Was not feeling the green beans ( seemed they were canned and not fresh). This place gets 4 out of 5 stars!!! Will come in again and try another side.”

“Cool little brewery. Definite upgrade from the old Intuition. Their beer selection is diverse and will quench many different flavor profiles. They have an inside area that is spacious and in the AC! Their outside area was more our speed with two little ones. Our son got a chance to play with many different toys that the brewery provides. They also had two pool tables. Not too happy you have to pay as I believe you will get people to stay and drink/eat longer if you can give them a free place to play pool. They also have some big ole fans and in 85 degree weather, it was cool with a nice breeze. All in all, it was a nice experience. Next time we will try the food and provide an update.”

“I was really impressed with the ribs!!! They were seasoned and had a nice smoke to them. I usually love ribs when they're so good that they don't need sauce and these were it! My only problem is that they were not hot and were on the Lukewarm side. Overall I enjoyed it.”

“The customer service was outstanding, the atmosphere was perfect, and the environment was impeccably clean. The entire restaurant seating area is very clean, organized, and professional. The food was so good, well seasoned and flavorful. I will certainly be a frequent customer. It's hard to explain Rasta pasta and cabbage because it's so delicious. I have attached a photo of the before and after.”
