“This place was a gem my husband suggested we go. It's on the side of a gas station. The shawarma tasted incredible. We initially ordered a falafel wrap and were so impressed with the taste that we ordered a second shawarma- the classic shawarma as the person making them suggested. That was really good, too. If you are looking for a good shawarma or falafel, this is the place. Would definitely come back whenever I'm here.”

“Walked in just based on the ambiance from outside. The staff was very super professional. Tried the buffalo sandwich with Cajun fries and Nashville Hot sandwich with rosemary fries. Both were great!! Had a small issue with one that was redone and I really appreciated how it was taken care of. This is a spot I am going to visit again! Next time I look forward to trying the custard and salads.”

“I love this acai bowl shop that serves authentic acai!🫐🍓🍌 You can find Makuna in Cordova Mall! Atmosphere: The shop is located in the area between Pandora and Victoria’s Secret. Now you can get this delicious treat while you’re shopping. Service: The owners here are so kind! They are from Brazil and provide authentic acai to our area with fresh fruit. Menu items: I got the acai base with bananas, blueberries, granola, and peanut butter as my toppings. This is one of my favorite places to get an acai bowl in the area—in my top 3!”

“Newer and "fresher" face in the sub and sandwich competition. The staff was very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful when making a choice of what to try. The Cuban was spot on, to the more authentic versions that you would find in south Florida. The food was very hot, fresh and amazing. Also, I thought it was a genius move, to serve Fry's in a drink cup, so if you want some to go, you just put a lid on them with no mess or spilling. A very enjoyable experience for me.”

Atmosphere: Stationed in Downtown Pensacola, you can walk over to the food truck if you’re in the area! They don’t have a lot of seating outside, but you can sit inside the building that the food truck is stationed by. Service: The service was quick, and the workers were the ones who recommended for us to find seating inside! Menu items: I got a rice bowl with Mojo Chicken on top! Each bowl had the following ingredients: coconut jasmine rice, black beans, salsa roja, lime verde, pickled onion, and fried shallot! Aside from their everyday rice bowls, they also serve a Hot Chicken Rice Bowl, tacos (only served on Friday’s and Saturday’s, and sides (Fried Rice Balls pictured)!🍚🌮🥬🍗”

Atmosphere: The space is behind Vinyl Music Hall in a beautiful outside area with white tables covered with green umbrellas and an open bar area. At night, the space is lit up with bright pink lights. Service: The food was prepared quickly, and we would get checked on when we ate. Menu items: The menu is very simple with the choice of either a single or double burger and the option of getting waffle fries on the side. The drink options are in a cooler outside of the truck, and they serve Pensa-Cola sodas! They have some of the best burgers in town. The meat was seasoned perfectly and melts in your mouth!🫶🏼”

“Absolutely beautiful space. Walked in during their in between lunch and dinner specials. We decided to sit at the bar and were met with wonderful service. The food was divine. We got the pork tacos. It was two tacos and they were FULL of meat that was insanely flavorful and juicy. I ate one before remembering to take a picture they were SO yummy. I about licked my plate clean. The beverages were delicious. I forgot what it was called but it had rosemary in it and was perfectly balanced. Literally cannot wait to go back.”

It felt like an elevated sports bar experience! Service: The waitress was wonderful! She made sure to check up on us, brought out the food, quickly, and made sure that our drinks were refilled. “I was unfortunately underwhelmed. I ordered the garlic noodles since they seemed to be the popular choice, and found them pretty lacking in flavor. The shrimps were good, I just wish there were more of them. I also ordered the shrimp and pork belly spring rolls , but someone must have forgotten the pork belly cus there was none in mine. The spring rolls did taste fresh and came in large portions which I did appreciate. The spring rolls were definitely worth it, despite them giving me the wrong ones. The atmosphere is really cute, and the outdoor seating area is quite nice.”

“Tried this new place for date night on a Friday evening. Service was wonderful from Riley, kind, quick, and knowledgeable on the menu. Lots of wonderful options and looking forward to trying again. It did take a bit a time for main dishes to come out with a mostly empty restaurant, only reason for 4 stars on food is my key lime fish dish came out with skin on without that indicated on the menu. I’m a new fish eater and it was strange. We had the fish dip app and it was delicious, just wish it came with something other than saltine crackers. However, taste was wonderful on all our dishes. Brussels sprout side dish was absolutely the best I’ve ever had.”

“Alan and Judy are the best!! We walked in to the shop and were immediately greeted like they had known us forever! The kids had ice cream and we had the best pastrami sandwiches ever!
