“Thought I'd give Citrus one more try. Yes the ocean view is great. Service was good and has improved over the years. But it's still the same mediocre food that's way overpriced. My friend had a $17 hamburger. Good but nothing special. Other friend a crab appetizer. Good and a reasonable price. I had local snapper. Bland. No sauce. Over bland pasta for $36. If I'm going to pay that price for fish, I'll go to the Tides or somewhere they serve great food.”

“Interesting menu. Chicken wrap was tasty but unfortunately a mess. All the chicken migrated to one half of the 2 presented pieces. The other half only had vegetable and sauce. The wrap needed toothpicks to hold it together, because the tortilla was improperly cut. Two other dinners at our table had acceptable sandwiches. Overworked staff, didn't have time to get me silverware to eat the deconstructed wrap, in a timely manner. Good menu, great location, needs professional restaurant Management.”

“Had breakfast there this morning. It was our first time to the Lemon Tree. There was a 15 minute wait, which was fine. Plenty of seating outside to wait until we were called for a table. Unfortunately, the breakfast was not what we had hoped for. I had the blueberry-lemon pancake with bacon and a biscuit on the side. The pancake and bacon were good. The biscuit was very hard and cold. My husband ordered the biscuits and gravy. His biscuits were the same way. I asked the waitress if this was the way the biscuits normally are served. She said were not normally like that. She offered to bring me another and I accepted. It was warm but unfortunately just as hard. I hate to say it but it was like a hockey puck. The waitress was gracious enough to remove the biscuit and biscuits and gravy from our check without us saying anything. The service was good and our waitress was very attentive. The restaurant was clean.”

“Chelsea's is my happy place. Diane and her amazing boys all treat us like family here. I would (and have) travel many miles to have one of their *amazing* bowls, fresh squeezed juice or bountiful salads from the fresh, upscale deli. Very laid back, inviting vibe. Kinda like a non-commercialized Starbucks, but 100% cooler, healthier and more personalized...complete with an amazing wine selection and even wine tastings. Stopping in just makes my day!”

They were really backed up and we were understanding of this as we order from here often and know that lunch time is super busy here. I would like to say that the lovely girl with the dark hair in a pony tail was absolutely wonderful. However, I had a terrible experience when I called in my order. The service I received was nothing short of nasty and impolite. I was not happy with this but give benefit of the doubt that everyone has those days... when we got into store I realized who took my order very quickly because she was continually being impolite and making condescending remarks. She had short blonde hair. I would recommend discussing how she handles customers. Thank you for your time :)”

“Quite good. Had their spaghetti and meatballs. If I was deciding to make a point of difference from other Vero Italian restaurants, I would add a ton of fennel to the meatballs and a ton of Bay leaf and a touch of sweetness to the sauce. Otherwise, it's actually quite good, but not a ton of difference from many other Vero Italian spots. That being said, the pizza is VERY good. Excellent crust, which is the only way to truly judge a pizza IMHO.”

“Saw an article in the local paper about them and had them added to my google maps as a place to try. Finally in the area so I stopped by. The place is on the corner if a small shopping center in downtown Vero Beach. Service was excellent. I ordered a chicken cutlet sub and a 1/2 dozen garlic rolls. Unfortunately the use the same chicken cutlet to make their chicken parmigiana. In the parmigiana, the sauce adds flavor to the meal. Unfortunately, the same cutlet in my sandwich was quite bland. They gave me an extra garlic knot for the small delay I endured. The texture of the knots was inconsistent. Some of them were fluffy and crispy on the outside while some weren't properly cooked on the inside. Sadly, there was much more oil than garlic for the knots. I may go back and try the pizza hoping to be able to salvage things, but otherwise, I wasn't impressed with the food.”
