“Bartender basically did her best to ignore me even after making eye contact with me 3 times(happened August 30 2023) very unsatisfied, she continuously talked to already ordered patrons and ignored new comers to the bar completely. *Edit* on further reflection and research, they were only notified that they were going to open with minimal time to prepare, so the fact that this bartender was working so fast is admirable, she did well, and when I wasn't served after a long while another gentleman started helping her serve and gave me my first drink free to make up for it. She and this man were very talented bartenders and deserve a raise after that hurricane fiasco”

“My family of four and I LOVE Decent Pizza! We enjoy their pizza, its as close to New York style as it gets down here in the south. They also have the best Stromboli in all of Tally. We usually get Decent take out once a month or so,and we would get it more often but I try to cook homemade meals most days. They have very polite, kind employees and I have never had a negative experience in the past 4 some years we've been patrons here. Definitely recommend!😊👌💯”

“From the decor and ambience to the friendliness of the staff and the fantastic food, this is one of my new favourite restaurants. I've been meaning to stop in since seeing it open last year but seafood isn't my favourite cuisine so it took awhile to get here. On my first visit, I ordered the triple hamburger meal because it looked like a great value and I do love hamburgers. Well, it came out way bigger and better than I expected. I actually got three meals out of that burger. The sweet potato fries were perfect and the cheese grits were so good I couldn't stop eating them until they were gone. On my second visit, I ordered the shrimp and oyster combination plate. I didn't need the tartar sauce but it was homemade and so delicious I had to use some of it. The seafood was cooked and seasoned perfectly. I also fell in love with their baked beans on this visit. I'm supposed to be counting calories so I won't be able to eat here every week but if I could, I would. I might have to sneak in one more quick visit to try out one of their Pudding Junky desserts. “I went to Top Dog for my last 2 years of college and it was well worth it. Working out every day here was definitely one of the highlights of my life while I was in school, and really helped me to grow into myself to feel confident and comfortable in my skin. For someone that knew very little about working out when I started, I feel like my time at Top Dog really gave me a great foundation to build upon, as far as learning how to lift weights properly and helped with building a healthy body. The best part for me was just being able to show up to the gym and have the workout and all the materials needed available to me without having to think much about it. It made my life much easier without having to come up with my own routines, and lets be real who really wants to to fight over space and 10lb dumbbells at the Leach? Since graduating and moving away from Tallahassee, I miss my gym the most lol and wish that there was something that came close to this gym where I live. The program is designed exactly for their audience, and it really works. With any exercise program, you have to be self motivated. No one is going to yell at you or tell you what to do the entire time, but I like to be in my own zone so it always suited me just fine. All of the equipment is awesome and the guys always getting in new things and staying up to date with fitness trends. I loved the rowers and ski machines. Personally, I loved being able to go to a gym that was mostly just girls, it made working out very comfortable for me. With that said, all the guys are very professional, and were always very patient and accommodating if I needed anything. If you’re still in college and thinking about Top Dog, definitely do it sooner than later. I loved my time at this gym and it really enhanced my college experience and time while living in Tallahassee. :-)”

“They have some good deals, but they have a huge menu so it’s easy to miss them. The wings weren’t my favorite wings in town, but I do really like the lemon pepper seasoning that goes on the fries. For the chicken and fish it’s a pretty good portion size. The box was very full. When I went the other day the people working the counter were great to talk to while we waited! Limited parking, but you can probably just pull up on the curb and be fine.”

“Love, love, love the red velvet cake they gave me. I came here last minute wanting to get a vegan cake for my friend. Obviously they could not accommodate my request of a whole cake last minute but I got a few slices to go and they were AMAZING. And the size of the red velvet was plentiful. The space inside is not too big, there's enough seating for maybe 2 parties, expect to take your food to go. It was also a little pricey for my taste, but I am willing to support good food. And so far between the cake and the supplement drinks I bought I received good quality items. Definitely will be back.”

“The food was amazing. We ordered the Pepito hot dog and La Gran Venezuela burger. We asked about the portion sizes and the woman working the register said normally 2 people share just the Pepito hot dog, but we wanted to also try the burger so we ended up ordering both. She wasn't lying. The portions were massive. The hot dog itself was probably a foot long so we definitely had some leftovers which we enjoyed later for dinner. The food was amazing and if you haven't been yet, I highly recommend.”

“Shout out to Slim Chickens. My family eats here often and their food is always on point. This go around, not so much. My husband came home with our order. The chicken wings were dry and sad. We got fried instead of grilled tenders. I went back up there and the manager working on 8/4 at 6:30pm, fixed me right up. She was sweet and took care of me with no questions asked. Now my family is enjoying a delicious dinner so thanks Slim Chickens. You’re the best.”

“We went here last weekend for the first time. We sat out on the covered patio to listen to great live music and have a cold beer and some dinner. We had the Dagwood sandwich and a fried grouper sandwich. Both were outstanding. The service was excellent. The crowd was friendly and everyone seemed to be having fun. We will be back.”
