“We had 6 PM reservations, and even though the restaurant was very busy, we were seated by 6:15. Shortly after, our server showed up and took are drink order. That was about the time all the good stuff ended. It took 20 minutes to get 4 glasses of wine. To our server's credit, and she was terrific, she told us the bar was backed up, and took our dinner order. Our salads came out quickly, and were very good. 75 minutes later, our dinner arrived. Well,. 3 out of 4. During this long wait, they brought out pizza for everyone to munch on. This wasn't just for the 4 of us, but for everyone in the room. So now we have 3 meals, and we've been there 3 hours, so my wife asked for her meal to be boxed to go. I can not stress enough how great our waitress was. And the restaurant gave us a bottle of wine, and comped my wife's meal. My main complaint is they obviously over booked, and took way too many reservations. It will be a while before we return, if at all. I should mention, the food, once we got it, was pretty good. My grouper, while very tasty, it was cold.”

“ordered online. The person who took my order was patient and kind. When I arrived to pick up my order they had a musician that was playing good music. The vibe was pretty chill. My food was ready as soon as I got to the kiosk. I was in and out in under a minute. My wife and I ordered the mango and black bean tacos and a steak burrito. This is my new favorite burrito. It’s large and has quality ingredients. My wife said the mango and black bean tacos were exactly what she wanted and they were “light, refreshing & wonderful”. We’re happy to have a taco joint close to home. Keep it up folks. We’ll be back.”

“It’s a newer store and has all the popular products and services. Every time I’ve been there the staff have been helpful and good natured - not just generic service station employees working out their shift. Today, something happened that sets them apart and prompted this pause in my day to report it. It was after noon and I had worked through the normal lunch time and stopped for gas prior to the next chore. The noon traffic had indeed consumed the chicken tenders and none would be prepared again anytime soon. Freshly dispensed large Diet Coke in hand, I verified what I feared was the case; the manager on duty told me no more chicken tenders anytime soon. As I turned to leave, the manager, sensing my disappointment, told me to just keep that. ‘That’ turned out to be the fresh, large, drink I was about to pay for. The tall, twenty-something black female manager on duty had taken it upon herself to spontaneously gift me my favorite cold drink on a very hot afternoon because she had to turn me away with no chicken tenders. This was second nature to her from what I could tell and she sensed my disappointment and instantly found a way to brighten my day. Give that lady a division of stores to manage and a generous promotion. She walks the customer first talk.”

“Visited the Black Sheep for lunch on a Friday afternoon and I had the most amazing experience! Amy served us and was very personable and made the experience so much fun! I ordered a grilled chicken slider, the black sheep slider, and a side of fries. I HIGHLY recommend the black sheep slider - I wish they had this as a full size burger, it was so delicious. The Black Sheep has a great variety of beers to choose from, and the atmosphere is laid back and easy going. I’d love to come listen to the live music on a weekend when I have more time to enjoy the setting. Can’t wait to come back!”

“Best tacos in Ocala...maybe even Florida. Got the steak. Double corn tortillas on all 3 tacos cooked to perfection...not too greasy...not too crisp. Flavor pops in your mouth...love the red and green sauce and the cilantro. Estefania was our server and was fast ant friendly...tacos in 10 minutes. “I'm giving this place a mixed review. The restaurant has only been open 3 weeks and this was the first visit for my husband and I. They have no coffee to offer, yet they have 3 desserts. I wouldn't order dessert without coffee. My pork chop plate had a nicely cooked boneless pork chop. I chose a salad and coleslaw for my two sides. The salad came with the meal instead of before it, but it was generous and fresh. I didn't care for the coleslaw. My husband's two types of wings were pretty good We had onion rings for an appetizer. The sauce was delicious but the rings really had too much batter. The restaurant and ladies room were clean and I liked the moose themed decor.”
