The portobello soup was delicious, the conch carpaccio was wonderful, scallops were cooked to perfection, never have I had scallops cooked so well. The triple tail fish was so flaky and delicious. Topped it off with a slice of their key lime pie, who’s was to die for. They also have a vast wine list to choose from. All and all an amazing experience at this wonderful establishment.”

“The only restaurant we visited at key west. We had a rental boat boarding near this place. The food was extremely good. The shrimp tempura was just amazing. The chicken satay was good with mild coconut milk and yellow curry taste. The chicken fried rice was also good. You can make the dish more hot/spicy by adding powder or sauces from what they provide as per your choice. From cocktails we ordered Thai mai tai and pina with vodka .”

We were here during happy hour , we ordered the Sliders, the Gringo taco, kids tenders w/fries , kids Mac n Cheese The Sliders were Huge and very tasty! “I didn’t like the food at all as it was not fresh. The chicken seemed to be cooked a couple of days before and then warmed up. The corn was same. The brisket was a medium. The lady who served us was super nice and friendly and the reason I am giving a 3 star review, otherwise I would leave a 1 star review. Their place is cosy and cool as it is an old boat converted into a restaurant. All in all not the perfect place for a BBQ dining in my opinion.”

“Stumbled across this bar and ended up having the best margaritas I have ever had. Bartender Michelle was incredible. Super quick and responsive. She made great recommendations on food, especially the crab dip. She hands down makes the best margaritas! We ended up coming back there with friends to enjoy it more of them, and found she also makes an incredible Bloody Mary. The whole bar area was packed but she managed it well. The ambiance of the outdoor area was exactly what we were looking for, with colorful signs, swings, and outdoor games! We will be back again next time we visit key west.”

“Blue Heaven restaurant was a really good experience. They have plenty of indoor and outdoor seating, but the wait was still over 30 minutes. There were a lot of shops very close to browse while you waited but these were very expensive boutiques. The place was very busy, with great live music. The service was a little slow, but our waitress was nice and attentive. The food was fantastic, and very cheap and reasonable prices compared to the rest of the island. Nice gift shop too with lots of clothes and gifts. Overall great food and worth a visit.”

I appreciate the Gluten-free bread and variability of add-ons. But maybe there could be more soy-free options? The included bread was some of the best we have had and paired very well with their goat cheese and a touch of honey. Variety of wines are available at fair prices and pours are very generous. The food was hot and fresh and even with a busy morning crowd, the food came out in a timely manner. They had a great choice of mimosas, beer and wine too. “We ate here 3 times on our trip. I hate to give this place 4 stars instead of 5, but the second time, my fiancee's sandwich had parchment paper in it. The manager explained that this was from the cheese separators, and re-made the sandwich. Still unacceptable. How did the kitchen not notice that? I appreciate the sandwich being remade, but would have more-appreciated them comping the sandwich, considering they had to wait another 10-15 minutes while I had my food. With that out of the way, each time our food has been excellent(minus the parchment paper), there was very little wait for a table, and the music is excellent. Heard Artic Monkeys, Foster the People, The Strokes, Glass Animals, The Postal Service, Manchester Orchestra, and many more great songs / artists you never get to hear in public. I can highly recommend the fish and chips, and the chicken stir fry. Also, they serve food late which is awesome!”

We had fabulous cocktails and empanadas, coconut shrimp and asparagus salad for appetizers. Everyone at our table had some type of steak and we were all very pleased. “The best restaurant on Duval without a doubt. Being a converted old house, it’s pretty cool how they decorated it for the holidays- very classy. The bar is in what looks like an old living room, don’t see that too often. Right on the street, while enjoying your meal you can people watch under the well kept deck. The servers were kind, real, genuine people who were very courteous. I definitely appreciated the mocktail selection, the raspberry lemonade is great. The homemade pasta is to die for, I loved the truffles and sauce. The lobster ravioli is fantastic. The best though was the seafood pasta, with mussels and the most delicious sauce. My only critique is the limited dessert menu, by adding more options the restaurant would benefit. Other than that, amazing experience, definitely check out in Key West.”
