“Enjoyed lunch here. We loved the three spread appetizer, the pita was warm, the hummus was smooth and flavorful, the red pepper had a nice spice to it and the tzatziki was perfect. I had the Armenian salad which came with a balsamic house dressing. This dressing was perfectly balanced as not too tart or sweet. The eggplant in the salad was delicious. I will definitely go back for dinner.”

It was perfectly cooked - crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. Coleslaw was good, again, not superb. Flan for desert was very average and a bit disappointing. Pretty sure it was not homemade. They had the cleanest, nicest restrooms I've seen in a long time.”

“Great beach! We went here for a beach bash.. this place was amazing. The bathrooms were clean. And the beach. The beach was amazingly beautiful. The only thing I warn you about is the shells in the water. The shells cut and hurt. Beach shoes are highly recommended. We also were able to find shark teeth as well... very, very beautiful. I will be visiting this beach again!”

“Delicious food, courteous staff, prompt service. We had calamari, the Asaro’s Special Pie and the Spinach Chicken pizza. All had great flavor and the envy of our neighbors who got salads ????. The seating is somewhat awkward with tight spacing of table and you’re sitting right next to other groups of people but it was still enjoyable. Easy access to their parking lot but exiting was a little complicated. Definitely worth it. Will return!”

“Totally amazing. So glad Chaz 51 popped up when my daughter was searching for steakhouses in Venice. The service and the food were beyond compare. We used to live in New York and this is one of the best restaurants we have ever been to. it's in the middle of nowhere on Knights Trail, but worth the trip there. Actually, it's less than 5 minutes off the interstate, just well hidden. We will be back, soon and often!”

“I previously posted a review from last year's visit. I wanted to give a new one. I came to Nokomis again and just HAD to stop back in at Pop's Sunset Grill. SO GLAD I DID! Gorgeous renovations added more outdoor water front seating. The gift shop is bigger and better than it was. I ordered the Casey Key Nachos and they were to die for!! Super delicious. Plenty of dishes can be made Gluten Free...which is always a plus for me!! This place is worth the trip! You won't be disappointed!! So glad I stopped here again this year! “The atmosphere is nice and the service was great. I think the cook could lighten up on the cheese. Tops and bottoms app was over cheesed and baked a bit to long. Stuffed shrimp and baked grouper were tasty but had so much “lobster sauce “ that it stole away from the seafood. The seafood chowder was bland. Salt and pepper yourself chowder?? A small place like this with these prices should try and use as much fresh ingredients and house made things as they can. The shrimp I’m pretty sure was frozen and the salad dressings and veg were store bought. Overall it was basic and underwhelming in a great location.”

“My brother and I stopped in for dinner and were blown away! I ordered the chicken Parmesan sub and it was phenomenal! I also started with their small side salad. The salad had fresh greens and very tasty ranch. Served with two delicious garlic knots for only a 3.50 charge! Well worth it! The sub was the best chicken Parmesan sub I’ve ever had! My brother got the calzone and it was the size of his plate (which was the small)! Not to mention the four different cheese they piled in. Not only was the food amazing, The service was impeccable! The owner took care of us personally! A+ service. He was so kind and very attentive. A lot of time was spent into making our dinning experience personal, pleasant, and prompt! I highly recommend this small business to support our community and have an enjoyable time.”
