“We went in for lunch and wanted to stay for dinner! Apollonia is our new favorite Sarasota restaurant. The chicken kebabs are tender and marinated in a lemony nectar (if there is such a thing) They had me at warm pita with olive tapenade which is served before the meal. We shared the salmon and zucchini fritters. Everything was amazing including our attentive waiter. The place is spotless and we enjoyed watching all of the meal prep service in their open kitchen.”

It is the BEST of the best Greek restaurants in the entire area. “Great place for any coffee lover. It has all the ingredients for a perfect coffee shop. The coffee is great, even the drip that they had on hand. I love the lighter roasts and this place does not do any dark roast so you know you’re getting the full flavor of the coffee bean. The ambiance is also amazing. It’s a great place to study and get things done with plenty of seating and plenty of outlets throughout. It is well decorated and has that awesome chill vibe. The barista was super kind and it seemed like he really enjoys his job. There is greenery throughout. I also loved the outdoor seating. One note is that the coffee is slightly more than what you may be used to paying but it is worth for that delicious and rich flavor in your coffee!”

“I have heard from several people that this restaurant is very good. I tried it last night with a friend and it did not disappoint. Everyone was very friendly and the food was delicious. I couldn’t decide between the egg plant and the lasagna. I went with the eggplant and it was delicious.. Service was excellent. I actually left my credit card there and the next day I went back to get it and was chatting with Angelo I believe who is the owner. He was extremely nice and I noticed how he cares about his customers while I was eating there last night. I even got a lasagna to go since I was already there and that was delicious as well. So if you’re looking to try a new Italian place this is definitely the place to try”

Thanks to the new owners and the people who now staff this place ! What a turnaround !! The food, drinks, atmosphere are fantastic. Have yet to meet a server or bartender (or Owner/Manager, for that matter) who has done less than great in making you feel welcome, give good service, be knowledgeable about the menu, or show genuine concern that you have a great dining and drinking experience. I know this is too long, but I have to tell you..... Get the PB&J wings. Peanut Butter and Jelly wings sound weird, but, trust me,.....you will love them. ????”
