“Went to the Blackfly for the first time with a couple of friends, and had a great dining experience at the restaurant. The restaurant has a sit down bar area on one side and a sit down area that is separated in the middle by the walking entrance. The atmosphere is casual dining and the deco within the restaurant is great. The waiter was knowledgeable about the menu and even recommended the scallops as an appetizer, which were amazing. The meal comes with fresh bread while you wait for your food. We had the Chef menu catch of the day which was Yellow Snapper stuffed with crab meat, everyone else ordered the steak and lobster meals. As you can see from the stars the meals came out fresh and tasting amazing no complains. The lobster was seasoned well that no butter was needed because it came with a sauce that you could use. We had one issue with one of the steaks not cooked too liking and they quickly resolved the situation by bringing it back and cooking another steak on the grill and even offering our friend a free desert. Most places would have brought the steak back and recooked it not them. The level of attention and customer service was on point and impeccable that on top of the food selection you will be wanting to come back for more. If you are looking for a Surf and turf type of place then give this place a shot and you will not regret coming here. My only complaint (and this is chain-wide for all the mellow mushrooms) is the price. 20 something dollars for a medium sized pizza is crazy but they are really good. “We went here because we had been here a few years ago and enjoyed it. This time we found entrees to be pricey and the food ordinary. Had the wedge salad which was disappointing. Came in a huge bowl and was about one quarter of a head of iceberg lettuce in a wedge, not cut at all, with very little of the ingredients listed on the menu with it. The lettuce had to be attacked with a knife before being able to eat the salad. We had to ask for the buns which other tables were given and they came without butter. Also had to ask for salt and pepper. The French onion soup and the pork schnitzel entree were adequate. The service was good - no complaints there. In general it wasn't as good as we thought it would be.”

“Great food & quick service! The lunch buffet gets a little hectic but they can only bring out 2 pizzas at a time but the buffet stays full of pies. Usually that's plenty. If you want the buffet, just ask for the pizza you want & they will make it & put it on the buffet. The dining room is pretty full on buffet days. Popular place. I eat there 5 times a week!”

“The outside area was the best place for me and my kids. It was a clean area with plenty of shade and adequate seating. My kids got the pepperoni pizza and I got the chicken Parmesan. The food was delicious and the portions were huge !!! I had enough for 2 meals. It was our first time and it was an Awesome experience. The building is an old Cottage style gas station from the 1920’s so it was right up my alley. I collect old gas station signs and gas pumps. I was talking with the girl behind the counter and she knew everything about the building and what type of station it was. I told her about the gutters on that style station had a P on them and she chimes in yeah Pure Oil. It gets a 10 in my opinion ????Great food and great architecture????”

“This was by far one of the best McDonalds that I have been to. The food tasted fresh instead of tasting like it was just sitting in a container for hours waiting for some poor sap to order it. The most amazing thing to me though were the workers. They all actually seemed to enjoy their job. It was awesome to see and experience. I believe a lot of it has to do with the manager working that day. She was incredibly upbeat and friendly. She made sure everyone felt welcome and would even go and hold the door open for anyone that entered and left the restaurant. She certainly did not make you feel like you were hindering her from working. A huge kudos to this McDonald’s team. They are setting the standard for how a quick serve restaurant should be.”

“Our hotel was next door and we saw the amazing reviews. So we figured we would see if they were as good as they say... The service and food did not disappoint!! I needed dairy free and gluten free options. The staff was so helpful and accommodating. Food was so yummy, was quick and the coffee was just how I like it! The only thing that I would say was a negative thing was the couch. It was ripped and kinda gross looking. If the get a new couch, I would say absolutely perfect experience :)”

“I was passing through St. Augustine and stopped here for lunch. It was 12 noon, it seemed clean and only had a few customers. I asked for two regular slices. I was told they don't sell by the slice, that I could order a personal pizza. I ordered the personal pizza and they brought it to my table. The type of pizza making process is similar to Domino's pizza. It is cooked on a conveyor rack system as it passes through the oven. It tasted okay, it wasn't the worst Pizza I ever had nor was it the worst. Pricing for this meal was $ 9.00. Overall, it's hard to find good pizza in Florida.”
