Definitely better than I was expecting for a strip place in the no-man’s land between Powder Springs and Marietta, but still better than any BBQ I’ve tried in Marietta, like the place on the square, the place in the new depot or the dreaded Williamson Brothers. It’s not Heirloom good but it will definitely scratch the BBQ itch if you can’t make the drive. Brisket sandwich was great and fried okra was fresh. Good beers on tap.”

“I was panicked when I discovered--four days before the event--that the restaurant where we'd planned to host my sister-in-law's baby shower had closed its doors without warning. We had to scramble to find another location that could accommodate a large party on such short notice. I called Gabriel's, with my fingers crossed, and spoke to Susan, who could not have been kinder. She was friendly, understanding and amazingly generous in offering options at Gabriel's. The shower couldn't have gone better. In fact, I believe we lucked out that our initial restaurant closed. The staff was warm, friendly and patient with our group. The food was tremendous and affordable, and I walked away feeling like the luckiest host in the world. Thank you, thank you, thank you, Gabriel's. You truly went above and beyond for us and we'll be forever grateful that we were able to spend time making memories in your lovely space.”

“We sat on the patio for an early dinner here. We had reservations, but we didn't need them because it wasn't crowded yet. Our server, Kara, was excellent. We had reviewed the menu before arriving and had decided to do an array of small plates and she was excited and patient with us. She was knowledgeable about the entire menu and helpful in guiding our choices. I expressed that I enjoy bourbon, but do not care for overly sweet cocktails. Based on that she recommended Smoke and Mirrors (dinner and a show!) and it did not disappoint! The food was all delicious. The scallops and flat bread were both particularly outstanding. We couldn't make a decision when it came to desert so we ordered two and both were excellent. I would recommend you come here. We will be back for sure.”

If you have never been I encourage you to have some of the best biscuits and gravy I've ever had before they close in May. They've been a part of the Kennesaw community forever and will be sadly missed. I think the city should find a way to keep them and adjust the roundabout so they can remain in business. “Delicious food, good service, clean, and above average overall. My favorite burger place by far. The fries in particular are delicious. Paired with the dipping sauces they are finger licking good. Highly recommend! The inside is also really nice and well decorated. Very convenient placement In Marietta square and one of my top picks in the square. The only sore spot is that the food takes a long time but they are always crowded so i can understand. Again, I highly recommend this place so if you feel like a burger, consider stockyard for your meal!”
