“May be the best restaurant in the world. Truly a hidden gem. Came here with my wife for our anniversary dinner and was blown away by the great service and amazing food. The tomato soup appetizer was out of this world and maybe even better than the entree which was also delicious. The desserts were amazing as well. You can tell that the chef is very passionate when it comes to food. Highly recommend this place and major props to both the chef and staff.”

“Writing this review in celebration of Base Camp's One Year Anniversary! We love Marietta Local, so when Base Camp opened, we were over the moon to have another eatery from Jim and his team. Food is delicious, service is great, and we heathens really appreciate that it's open on Sunday mornings. ;-) I love that I can go all in and get down with some biscuits and southern fried whatever or be a good girl with a smoothie and a scrambled egg. The buffalo tots are the best! The line to order can get long, so be nice - study the menu and decide what to order BEFORE you get up to the register. Congrats, Base Camp! Hope you're around for a good long while.”

“We love going to Waffle House when we want something quick but do not want to eat fast food. There are so many options to get the meal made just the way you like it with all your favorite toppings. My go to is the hash brown bowl with double meat and some hot sauce! This particular store has had a consistent staff since we moved near by a little over a year ago.”

“Used to work there so Im a little biased, but it has a great atmosphere, awesome regulars, and a beautiful patio. Also, the daytime bartender Katrina is the best. The owner is a wonderful lady that lives her staff and regulars alike. Visitors from out of town, or just new people are welcome like family. It's an awesome spot tucked away on Whitlock Ave.”

“The place is good, the beer is good, but Jessica is the main attraction. You should go there if you're looking to be entertained with good pizza, good beer, and stellar conversation. Couldn't recommend her or the place any more highly. Angelica and Evan are awesome too, and they all three gel together really well to make it a fun experience. Even the cleaning crew at closing makes you feel welcomed and are friendly. You should definitely put this on your list of places to go.”

“Oddly, Street Taco is the only place where I've eaten at the Market. Keep saying I need to try another place, but Street has everything I need - tacos and beer. Overall, their food (I've had more than just tacos!) is all very good. The atmosphere is good and the outside seating can't be beat. Chef Michael has come out to check on us and Ebony is the absolute best server. Try it!”

The outside seating is nice because there are plenty of fans and napkins on every table. Parking is hit or miss, but it's a nice easy walk from the decks or if you get lucky, street parking.”

“We thought the shrimp po boys were delicious. Shrimp and bread are equally important and they were both delicious! The bread was clearly fresh with a perfect amount of “toast” to it. We also thought the remoulade sauce was good on the po boy as well. Took about 15 min, and was well worth the wait! We will be back!”

“This place is so great! I stopped in for some tea, this morning and met the General Manager Angelica, and Riley, who prepared my mint tea. These ladies were so cool, kind and made me feel so welcome. The ambiance is laid back, but they’re on their game. And the tea had hints of cardamom and basil, to which I added a shot of lavender. I had such a great experience, at an absolutely great place!”

“This place had outstanding BBQ! I had the brisket, my son had the pulled pork, we both had mac cheese as a side. It was all amazing but the brisket was the best part. The sweet tea was nothing to write home about but adequate - packets of lemon juice concentrate were available. The BBQ sauce was okay but reminiscent of ketchup. Honestly, their cue is so fantastic it didn't need any sauce. The restaurant was pretty good sized and it was packed full on a Saturday afternoon around 12:30. Be careful in the parking lot, they seem to have some sort of issue with a neighboring business who doesn't care for the number of cars who park there. Bathrooms we're adequate and clean. There is no table service.”

They have a cafe in the back, really cute place. What makes it a 4 instead of 5 stars is the wait staff is easily overwhelmed and waiting on food/drinks will occur. Drinks were wrong twice. The bone broth soup was shockingly bland. The table is full of literature making the table feel cluttered.”

“I hate to say it, but this place was a major let down. The presentation of the donuts was absolutely beautiful! I was tempted to try flavor combos I’m never interested in based solely on looks. Which is why the actual flavor, or lack thereof may have been so disappointing. Maybe I’m just picky, but the donuts tasted like the flavor was on mute; there was just something missing. I got the chocolate glazed and the apple crumb cake and they were both mediocre at best, especially considering the price. They were both extremely greasy as if they’d been fried in grease that was a bit too cool, however they were a bit too dry at the same time. While the donuts were edible, I wouldn’t necessarily recommend them to a friend based off of what I had today. Considering all the other 5 star reviews I would say it’s possible today was just an off day, maybe I’ll get a 5 star donut on my next visit.”

I would definitely say this place has been one of the nicer cafe's i have been to. The ambient was just so right, it wasn't overpowering with strong black coffee beans but rather than a fresh smell of morning delight with a hint of sweet bakery smell from their pastry's. I cant say anything other than you have to experience this yourself. I can guarantee it.”

“Gave birth to my baby girl the other day. The first thing I wanted before heading home was a cold cut sandwhich (which I craved ALL through my pregnancy). Now, I've heard good things about Jimmy Johns, which I have never had since I am not from here. I go in, the cashier was very helpful and patient as she can tell I have never ordered here before. She took my order and here is when I waited. There may have been new staff members training or just starting off but I was told Jimmy John's make sandwiches within minutes. I waited for over 10 minutes for my sandwich. There was even one employee who sort of scolded the others about getting the sandwich out faster. Maybe it was the time that I went in or it was just an off day. Who knows. On the bright side, I did enjoy my sandwich though :)”
