“Delicious fried chicken sandwich, though more sweetness and spices comes through than any kimchi or heat. Recommend getting the heat bomb (chili paste made in house) on the side and adding some to it for a nice kick. Fries were awesome. Spice bomb also mixes well with ketchup for dipping. “Today was my wife and I first day visiting. I must say we came at the best time because we were able to park. But I must say the food was amazing ! We will be coming back for sure ! The french toast was to die for but seriously its genius and tasty. The food and drinks were so flavorful and tasty. The only reason I gave 4 stars really a 4.5 is because of the cleanliness in the restroom. If it matches the rest of the restuarant cleanliness this rating would be 5 stars. “We were in Atlanta visiting family. Our daughter told us about this Tex-Mex place. We drove to the nearest parking lot and walked a block or two. It was a nice day. Even though it was busy we were seated promptly. I always like the complimentary salsa and chips. The salsa appeared to be freshly made in the store. It was perfect. The service was prompt. Our waiter appeared to be Cuban and the menu was bi-lingual. The food was warm and delicious. All the helpings were more than filling. Most of us were full and had food left over. The price was reasonable.”

“Loved the set up of this place! From the decor to the music it was great. Went for high tea on a weekday, which wasn't crowded and very relaxed. The tea was good. We loved the broccoli and cheddar quiche. Not a big scones fan but theirs were good. Could've done without the cupcakes and brownies. Our server was sweet and attentive. Would return again!”

“I would highly recommend Lazy Betty for a special occasion or for any foodies/cuisine connoisseurs. We did the chef's tasting and had a multitude of dishes that were very carefully crafted. You can watch the precision of the kitchen staff preparing each plate while you wait between courses. Each course was an adventure as they combined ingredients that I wouldn't have thought go together, but they worked so well. The courses became more sophisticated as the evening went along. I would recommend the wine pairing option as well. The pairings are spot on, and portions are generous enough. Each dish and wine pairing was explained in detail, and the staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. Note: it can be pricey and you're not going to come out stuffed or over full, as it is about the experience. But you will come out satisfied.”

“The food was hot and fresh. The service was great, the women at the front were very nice. But the food overall, unfortunately was sub par. Why? It was bland. The whiting was fried nicely but had no seasoning. The fried rice basically tasted like oily white rice with no seasoning. The boneless wings had the most flavor on my plate. Spicy honey garlic, it was pretty good. Unfortunately the chicken was a bit dry. I may come here again for the traditional wings but not any of the items I had today.”

“We came here after a workout class, and this food really hit the spot. I had the blueberry crunch pancake, which I think essentially was just a blueberry pancake with granola. It came with two eggs, bacon, and potatoes. My friend had the avocado toast and the cinnamon roll. The food is super simple, but really tasty. The waitress was also so nice to us and really paid attention to us even though we were sitting at the counter. I would definitely come back to try more of the menu. The only thing for me was that the potatoes weren’t seasoned the best, but overall it was a delicious meal. I love sweet and savory together and it was a lot of food for a good deal.”

“A great restaurant, not only because of it's uniqueness, but because of the quality of food. It's really the only spot in the Metro-Atlanta area I know of that specializes in Peruvian cuisine. I specifically like the style of food for it's roots in traditional South American ingredients with an added twist of Japanese influence based on history and geography. Portion sizes are generous and well fit for a family-style meal. Great for either a family grabbing lunch or a group of friends out for the night. “I can't say enough good things about this place. Number one, when you come in Cara, the owner will probably greet you from behind the counter where you can see the kitchen. She will probably also do anything possible to make your stay or dine out opportunity top notch. The other staff member I met on the day I went in was just as happy as the owner, and you could tell she was not faking like some restaurant employees might do. She seemed to genuinely care about every person that stepped through that door. With that being said, I had the spicy meatball (can't remember the exact name) of pasta. I've been in the restaurant industry for a long time so I rarely get super impressed with something. The sauce and meatball were by far the best I've ever had and we make homemade tomato sauce and meatballs at my restaurant. You NEED to check this place out. Amazing is all I can say.”
