“I went here for the first time with my partner and had a very pleasant experience. The service was awesome. I had some fried chicken, mac and cheese, turnip greens and cornbread. “I came to Golden Corral- Douglasville about a month ago, and meant to write a review. During lunchtime on weekdays you can really get a bargain for fresh food at about $10 per adult. On this visit, I enjoyed a delicious salad with fried chicken, fried fish, fried green tomatoes (I skipped the gym this day, obviously) a baked potato and some veggies. Everything was hot and fresh. I do not really care for buffets, but I realized that the lunch is pretty good and I prefer the weekday to the weekend because there is less people. My dad likes to come here on weekends, and my husband enjoys coming for brunch options. I the like fried chicken wings and we were able to get four (between two adults) on this Tuesday. On Saturdays, it seems like you are lucky to get a leg, let alone a wing because it is so crowded and this location serves mostly large pieces to accommodate the crowd. Golden Corral is also ideal for kids, because you can let them try the pizza, veggies etc. and if they do not like it you can always try something else. Overall this location is okay :)”

“Awesome food, clean restaurant, helpful staff. The smell of the BBQ hits you the second you open your car door and pulls you into the restaurant. We had been gifted a bottle of sauce but never actually eaten anything else. We we were in the neighborhood decided to stop and get the family pack which was $31.99 and offered lb of pork, qt beans, slaw and sauce and buns. It was a ton of food and a great deal. We will definitely make this a go to place when in town”

“UPDATE: General Manager contacted me and fixed the following issue: Our order had three custom sandwiches, which seemed to irritate the staff member. When I decided at the end to change a sandwich to the $4 deal she seemed very upset after I stated I was sorry. She walked off to get the manager to help her fix it, because she apparently didn't know how. When we were done she practically tossed the receipt at me. On the GOOD side the food was fresh and tasted great! To bad the unfriendliness of one staff member started the visit.”

“Pretty sure the first time I ever visited this place Ronald Reagan was President and I had yet to say my first word. Thankfully they've remodeled since then. Food is amazing, just had the steak chicken and shrimp taco salad and was actually stunned by how good it was. Steak was juicy and tender, chicken was perfect and the shrimp was literally the best I've had in ten years or more. Prices felt a tiny bit higher than other options around town for some items but I don't have a single bad thing to say about the place.”

“This location is decent. The staff, food and speed was on point! They did accommodated me due to food allergies which is something I look for when eating somewhere to do a review. The staff all around on the date of July 27 2019 was each friendly, hard working, professional and the food was outstanding! I couldn't thank each of them enough for the excellent customer service and this was the date above around 1 or there of. The only reason this location did not receive 5 stars is due to needing the tables attention. Nothing that can't be corrected quickly. Other than that, if you haven't tried the Reaper Steak Fries as of yet, absolutely recommend you give them a go! So amazing! Thank you for reading and yes I recommend this location!”

“Icecream and food is generally good but the owners don’t seem to step in and help when something goes wrong. They didnt hand me part of my order and I didn’t realize it till I got home. I called and was told by the manager that they tried to hand it to me but that was not true at all. They held them till I got back and surprisingly they kept them nice and hot. Only thing I find truly odd is that they put their health score in the window but it’s from 2017.”
