“EVERYONE SHOULD TRY " CLYDE'S TABLE & TAVERN " ! My wife and I stopped in for a first visit Tuesday. We ordered the chicken nachos (special of the day) as an appetizer. For our main course, Philly steak sandwich and fries. For me it was a burger and onion rings. There was so much food we couldn't begin to finish it. The nachos had inches of meat and cheese, more like a meal for two. Our sandwiches were hefty and tasty. The owner is right there overseeing operations and in the thick of things. The chef came to our table to ask if her food met our expectations. It exceeded expectations! Thank you for the lovely birthday lunch !”

“This place is fantastic and cheap. The buffet is good and well priced. Comes with a drink included. If you have kids this is the place. 5 of us for dinner was 41 dollars. The owner is super nice. He will make you pretty much anything you want. They deliver to Helen which is a money saver. Considering all the other over priced places there. Everything we ate was delicious. My boys loved the boneless wings.”

The crust was good and hearty but not heavy. The sauce and cheese came together perfectly, and the toppings added perfectly. We tried the chicken fingers w/ fries, pulled pork sandwich (new to the menu this weekend is what I was told) w/ fries, and a funnel cake. “This was a very good barbecue restaurant! Persons in my party had pulled pork, BBQ ribs, Brunswick stew, and smoked turkey. Every single person enjoyed their meal and remarked how tasty it was. The patio views are nice too, along the river. Would come back again if I'm ever in in Helen, Georgia. Would have loved to see more sauces on the table, but otherwise everything was good. My husband and I shared the bang bang shrimp and we shared the surf and turf and it was the perfect amount of food and very delicious! Sirloin was tender and juicy, lobster was cooked just right! They also gave you bread, and it was delicious! Very happy with the choice to eat here. Went at 7 pm and hardly waited for a table with river view.”
