“I can recommend the Minute Chicken and Crispy Noodles! The little crunch of the noodles combined with the sauce and flavorful chicken is nice. There was some kind of mix up with our order and many customers that ordered after us received their meals first, but after it was sorted, I felt the food was worth the wait. It was freshly cooked and delicious. The counter service was average but I will give the food I had 5 stars. The portions were generous and in my opinion a good value.”

“Stumbled upon this place while going to Take sushi (which is also great). Situated inside the "mall", this little shop was a surprise! Here's what I'll say about the service: the owner reminds me of my own mother. She's slightly sarcastic, acts annoyed on the outside, but is actually a very sweet lady on the inside. After we asked for suggestions (she said everything was good) she told us to get a portion of pork adobo and the lechon kawali. The food was really delicious! Lechon Kawali is crispy and crunchy without being too salty, and the pork adobo literally shreds into pieces on your fork like butter. Portions are also huge! I love Filipino food and would highly recommend this place. Give it a shot.”

“If you're looking for a Chinese loco food restaurant. This is a place to go. Pretty good. I like the gravy on the hamburger steak plate and the mac salad was pretty good too. I had tasted better Chinese food else where. But one thing that anyone would enjoy. Is the price. You can't get a cheaper place than here. Lots of food. The selection is pretty awesome. But how can you get a large mix plate for $10.25. Regular plate runs around $8.25. Or less. How's that. I can eat here everyday. So try it. Check it out”

“The food is delicious! It's really hard to get my picky kids to all agree on a plate of food. Because they are so small 4, 6 & 7 they are able to share a plate lunch but getting the agreement is hell. Here there's no fuss. They love the rice, the pita bread and meats. I try to stop by this place every week. When I do I always buy 4 plates. 2 for lunch and 2 more for later in the afternoon. There are never left overs.”

“Beef Stew Plate The plate came with white rice, spaghetti salad, and a free drink. The beef stew consisted of pot roast tasting beef, large cuts of carrots and potato on a bed of rice and another scoop of rice on the side. The stew was disappointing as it was not the old school tomato sauce type that I was hoping for. Instead, it simply tasted of pot roast with its usual root vegetables that is placed into a slow cooker. I should not have been surprised to be disappointed in their failure to serve up an institutionalized local comfirt food, as their name sake, Taka's, forewarned.”

“Hidden gem! And unassuming from the street. Once you enter you can see that this is a quality establishment. It’s take out only with limited parking. The kitchen is separated by a window so you can see the cooks preparing your food. Always love that about restaurants. Their service was great, their food is amazing, and it’s very clean. Highly recommend for lunch, especially if you work in the area. Definitely try their burger and “Filipino Lemonade”.”

“Staff was kind and super welcoming. They were so sweet to my 5 year old during our "mommy daughter sunday brunch". If I were rating this restaurant simply based on staff alone, they would have 5 stars all day. However, the actual restaurant itself was set up very confusingly with an outdoor, covered takeout window (for deli only I believe)on one half and a small sit down area on the other half. The actual sit down restaurant did not appear to be very clean and had a distinct smell of mildew toward the back. We almost left based off smell alone. We ventured over to the bakery and grabbed some desserts to take home and had nearly an exact opposite experience. This side appeared and smelled cleaner. However, customer service was not great. I had 2 people in front of me, yet waited over 20 minutes to be served.”
